Ah so the ZR1 comes with a 5.5 litre engine might need to tell Chevy that as they are selling ones with a 6.2 litre engine ;) therefore they have to fit a different engine to meet the regs which would then require a waive as it wouldn't be homologated which means it also has to carry penalties.

Why do you think BMW don't enter the Z4 V8.

Wait you do realize that the engines the Vette's use aren't built by Chevy and that the Corvette hasn't run a 6.2l engine in any LMS? Also the ZR1 is supercharged...Le Mans vette's are clearly not. I never said the ZR1 comes with a 5.5, I said the C6.R does, two clearly different cars.

Katech builds and designs the engines for Chevy's GT cars, like the Camaro's that were suppose to be used for GT3, and the GT Vettes. Not sure where you got the idea that the C6.R uses the full on production car.

Perhaps you were just being sarcastic with the first half and explaining that you are aware that is runs a 5.5L engine but must also have penalties due to such a change. However, this is probably the reason why the C7 will have a 5.5L from the factory, to directly help the corvette racing program that has done so much for Chevy's production car. My issue still stands, what is different on the car this year from the past 3 years that it ran the 5.5l (starting in 2010), that cause it to run such dismal lap times from previous years. Also the mandatory Michelin tires should be more of a gain than a loss for Corvette, since they run the brand and have a partnership with them, right?

Also as for BMW, I never followed them I saw the Z4 for this year didn't bother to read the specs or back story for it. So you asking me why is redundant, sorry.

Off topic:
Ill say what I want to say. When people talk out their ass and say things thatre false, and I know they should be corrected, then Ill correct it. If you don't like how my words are put together thats too bad. Using phrases like "want a cookie" is stooping? Its how I feel the appropriate response should be given to that particular reply. Saying things like Im being mean or I need a chill pill is all based off how some people perceive my words. If it don't pertain to you why the reply? Talk of trolling, mind your own and don't jump to conclusions or assume my tone is negative and you won't have any issue. If you paid attention I started with a question. 💡

Clearly others agree that you are attacking, also you only contradict yourself about not having a negative tone, with actually defending yourself in an irate manner. You yourself just said people are "talking out their ass", thus displaying a combative and negative manner by deeming them as such. People mess up all the time, yet you jump to the conclusion that they done so on purpose and need to be re-educated. The irony is you say we are jumping to conclusions by calling you out. The most compelling part however is, you yourself once again said you aren't here to be friends or make friends rather with people, then tell me to get lost when I deduce your post that hit too close to home for you.

Also I too opened up with a question, yet you seem to think I'm attacking you...You could have easily said yes or no and not dragged it out by getting highly defensive. Anyways this banter is too off topic and dragging down the thread if you wish to keep this debate going I extend my private message to you as I've done to others.

Just put Seth on ignore guys, makes it easier ;)

Silverlight won't install on PS3, so laptop it is!

Can't you output your laptop screen to TV? Access GTPlanet via Smartphone app?

Hello folks, locking in for this year's edition :)

As has been the case in the last few years, I'm not paying attention to LMP1 - which looks like it's usual Audi procession. I hope I am proven wrong, but it looks unlikely. LMP2 looks good, but I'll be focussing on GTE-Pro, a catagory I'm torn in. Do I go for my regulars, Corvette Racing? The Brits at Aston Martin Racing? Or the plucky underdogs I like in SRT Motorsports? Either way should be a great battle

GO AUDI!!!

God damn, I HIGHLY recommend using this stream. Just gorgeous!

I tried to open it, but VLC had an error and couldn't played it. I have the latest update of VLC, could you please explain me how to properly use the stream you posted? Sounds like it's gonna be an excellent alternative for when those idiots on Fox Sports 3 decide to show Nascar Trucks instead of Le Mans

The corvettes and vipers have had thier rev limits reduced, not sure what it is on the corvettes but the vipers is 4600rpm. They have also had to add another 10kg of weight added on.

Also there is no mandatory Michelin tyres rule if there is why is there a GTE Ferrari running dunlops? The tyres are free.

Well the FIA WEC has screwed me up, does anyone have any other streams I can watch (except for Nismo TV).
