I just realized something: Aston Martin as a brand is older then the Le Mans race itself. That's in itself is incredible.

I've been watching them clean those windscreens all night and the LMP1 cleaners just go for it! Jump straight on top of the car and wipe that window like there's no tomorrow. The GT classes however, the cleaners casually stroll round to the drivers side of the car and only wipe half the windscreen. How incredibly unprofessional.

Except for the IMSA Matmut Porsche, the guy did jump on top of the bonnet to clean the windscreen

That's why the LMP1 cars are faster than the GT cars. It has nothing to do with engines and aerodynamics. It's all about the windscreen cleaners. 👍

:odd:

After the off, the Jota car previously driven by Lucas Luhr is still in the pits for laps already. Reportedly to have a front right suspension failure.

Not surprising. They can't get to sleep because of all them loud cars that keep driving passed them.

No excuse. I fell asleep on the grandstand while watching GP2 at Sepang last year and woke up with the guy next to me going how the hell you managed to sleep with these massively loud GP2 cars going around?

Every time that car pit's I'm afraid the box will go up if it doesn't start right.

The love of cars. Like falling a sleep in the seat.

 All hail windscreen cleaners!!

Third time the #33 has caught fire... As if Le Mans doesn't have enough Barbecues laying around this weekend.

All the photographers are taken shots of the guy in action. The women on the far left is cheering him on, that's how much passion there is towards these guys. Even his crew mate is running to get out of the shot.

@MFranchitti says the fires are affecting the engine's low revs. "She's breathing fire but she keeps going!" @Level5Racing #LM24

Ohh, that's good to know. I really helps you calm down knowing that your car is just breathing fire.
