a gallery into an empty space [speed thrills - 2.19.08]

Great Integra with that exagerated lens flare but, I'm really loving the Capitain footage. Awesome shots man, very good angles and adjustment of camera controls. That soft saturated tones, high contrast but not excesive, hidden textures in a very natural way...

I dont know if you has watched my Nordschleife special footage. I always thought that the "no car objetive" was a rare style. I'm glad to see other works like that :)

thanks 👍 i think a bit of its my style seems to have changed in my long break and im having troubles finding good, agreesive, up close camera angles. so i go with the alt and take pictures of spots that give me troubles while driving ;) its just hard to find good spots because often youve to wait to take a picture as the car disappears just off screen. usually i grab it right after it changes.

unfortnately ive not seen it, do youve a link?

i dont know if youre into bikes, but, have you stopped by my tt gallery?

When I like to photograph the circuit itself, I try to run with a car slowly and making zig zags to catch the most appropiate camera. Btw I love the powder smoke in Capitan and leafs flying in Autumn given by immediate action.

I not usually visit TT galleries, but I'm going to take a look.

My GT4 gallery is actually in stand-by. You can check it out here.

ill give it a look when i get the chane 👍

i need help/opinions ... ive black sunshine almost to my liking. ive desaturated the mustang and brought the highllights out to match the buildings. but, i hate the text ... any suggestions?

Amazing reflections. Well, the GT4 textures are really bad and results could be much better, but you had a great idea btw.

I've noticed the "flat" rims. I always turn down a bit the aperture speed to avoid that mistake in photodrive. There is so ugly... I've that whim :P

thanks :)

fwiw - when it comes to editing, b/c, saturation, etc i dont mind doing but i hate fixing textures and jaggies. its not fun at that point *shrugs* with the wheels, i usually try to keep shutter speed low enough to keep the wheels blurred while keeping the in focus enough.

another quick update, i like them but i dont  too dark and/or over contrasted. i didnt play with the saturation or anything else, just b/c to possibly use one for the current pmc round:

Nismo 350Z:

I hate fixing textures too. About 350Z you loosed a bit metallic look in some shots, and could be useful a surface blurring to hide surface mistakes such as in last. Overall they are pretty good, contrast is awesome. Great work 👍

thanks guys, its nice to know *someone* likes them :)

alex - yeah, the last one is the worst and i nearly used it for the tunner entry, but, the more i worked at it it seemed the worse it got so i just gave up on it. i think these 350z came out a lot better because the car textures were easy enough to fix (or needed no touch ups :D )

part 1: the gp track

ill probably upload part 2 later today, but, i need to edit and some things around the house need to be done first :)

Ñoh, you're valiant!! You photographed the worst zone of any circuit possible. They look very smooth and clean, but blurring killed some sharpness. At least you focused the nitid area of Nordschleife, to show in a 2nd place the Sudschleife tribunes.

Great work, surely it was pretty hard to edit and better looking is not possible. Even I'm amazed!

LGforce - thanks 👍 the 350z is one of my current dream cars after test driving one early july. its hard to not take good pictures of her ;)

jgda9rs - thanks 👍

TEAMDiablo3 - thanks 👍

alexwrc - thanks 👍 dangerous? purhapes? did i land safely and enjoy my lap? deffently :D

ive one more update from this set, nordschliefe is a big track and the more i drive the more interesting angles i find so :) after that im thinking bmw z4 3.0i, not sure where though.

BMW 330i @ Le Sarthe I:

im thinking about one of these two as my entry for this weeks h2h comp, but, im not sure which one? thoughts, comments, critism? ill upload the rest of the keepers later this weekend :)

Nice pics, and yep, your actual shots has got a more depurated quality. I like second one, an artistic view with so contrast and things in the composition. Seems like Honk Kong were more than neon on the streets :D
