A little bit of drifting...

Here is a vid that i put together tonight. Keep in mind that im not the best at editing and its shot off the tv with a cam,also i checked it before posting it to make sure that there arent any buffer problems and such. Works fine. Only thing i would suggest is to click the link and let it load some before you try to watch it or it will have to buffer a good bit. Tried to shrink the size down but couldnt get decent quality out of it when i did.

I always use sims my good fellow! Unless im doing something like 360 into drift then i will step it down to sports, but i never go any softer than sports. I have much more control with the sports when doing 180's and 360's etc. into drift's. Also you can tell most of the time they are sims because of the almost constant tire smoke

Yeah, that's what i thought. I never use sim tires...well once i did in the GT2 trail mountain enduro. I was in a Datsun 240Z...i just couldn't keep up with the AI and it got annoying.

If i did more sport-drifting i'd use sims more often i guess. 👍

Funny you mentioned GT2 because i just dusted it off and played it not even 1 hour ago. Boy did i not remember how terrible the graphics looked, or should i say how much good they have gotten since then. But yes if you don't just drift then sims make it very very hard to keep up with anything not in a sunday cup...lol. Every now and then i will throw the hard racing slicks on and race\drift some. But mainly GT3 is just a drifting game for me. Completed 100% about 4 months of buying it and just got it out one day because i had seen some game that was a "drifting game". And well, to my surprise of trying and trying for about 3 days, i was having fun with an old game that i made a new game again!

Oh and it's nice to see people looking at GT3 video's being posted, not only looking but actually posting to show the person that worked on the video that they did either, enjoy it or did not. Thanks!

So you don't like music in with the drifting video's? Thats the first i have ever heard that complaint...lol. Well i just picked up my new capture card so i will move my ps2 into the pc room and see what i can capture and put up, with no music

....it's just cheesy, the music! I don't mind it...but whenever i click on a drift vid i know it's gonna be there....

i'd just rather hear the sound of the car, which to me is music in and of itself!

I am having trouble with this capture card so nothing untill i get this thing working right. Got it to work its just the quality is crap. Looked better with a cam recording the screen! So i have some tweaking to do looks like.

I think maybe they should rename the whole GT3 section to something like breakbone or parnellipoint. First one really doesnt sound very family friendly does it, guess parnellipoint it is! All alone yes we are.

Yeah these forums (GT3) ebb and flow. Most of the time it's slow but every couple of weeks it'll pick up.

I'm actually kind of embarassed to say that i've been drifting 2 years this last january. Reason i say that is because i feel like i should be better than i am for doing it that long. Well not 2 years straight, i've got 3 kids and a job that most of the time i leave at 6am and don't get home till around 8pm most of the time....not much time for practice ehhh!?
But, i guess family is more important than video games, sigh. I have been a hardcore gamer since i was a kid man. While everyone else was outside playing football, i was getting to world 0-0 on super mario bros. Some say thats sad, i say thats rad. Everyone can run down a field, not everyone can get to world 0-0, and if you know what that even is either your a child of the 80's or your cool as i am.....
