Is it wrong that i think those photos made the cars look alive, like characters in a videogame ?

if anyone can post the AE86 Shigeno Version, 2014 Shelby GT500 and the classic GT350, i'd really appreciate it

If this is not a true photmode, are there still minor options to turn lighs on and off?

Yes.

All cars as deafault have there lights switched on in-game, but not on the website.

Matte red - can't be obtained anymore. Something close that's gloss is Magmarot from the SL 55 AMG - unless the FT 86 concept has matte red and I've forgotten...

Yeh I meant there isn't a Matte Red on the FT86 and posted the link for confirmation, I wasn't trying to be an arse I asked because the Matte Red looks really dark sometimes and that shade on the M4 is spot on 👍

It does - every time I try matte red on a car it looks rather dull. Thing is, I've noticed that the paint preview screen (because of lighting effects... and rainbows) always seems to look different to the real thing in photo/race mode.

That is frustrating yeh, we have 3 screens; select paint, after paint and gallery view and they all look slightly different Some standard cars as well like the BMW 330 always end up being darker compared to a premium
