Beyond this there will be a few additional Updates deployed between now and the end of April which will add new cars and course layouts, as well as implementing some other fixes.

that's probably for the afk script people are using, says championship and that has nothing to do with the tokyo tomahawk glitch, but that is also a known issue and may get fixed

How exactly would they "patch out" the afk script when it's just playing the game using a bot? Make the buttons randomly move around?

That's weird though, it kinda sounds like they don't have any solutions for the glitch PP settings when they put it in their known issues list.

If this ends up just being bug fixes and some adjustments, PD are definitely pushing the “few additional patches” by the end of April (30 day month too) right to the limit - my guess though is that this one is a 2 hour update, I suspect some form of content to be added as GT Sport updates that were 2 hours long usually added content (keyword: usually -so not every single time before someone says anything…).

I am flabbergasted at the responses to the OP. Y'all acting daft complaining about a verbiage difference like Maintenance and Update.

GTPlanet themselves put out an article on Friday and there is a forum thread about it, in which they said the update is out on April 25th and even have a tweet in the article (sorry I cant read it) from PD.
