Except he never said anything to suggest that he couldn't read your user name either so that doesn't make sense. So now you're backpedalling. If you were merely referencing his understanding of your screen name then it would not make sense for you to note again that the comment was directed to the both of them (because as you acknowledged already he never showed any lack of understanding of that anyway) and it certainly wouldn't make sense to call him illiterate in the same statement as that would make it appear that you're calling him illiterate for something else entirely. No matter how you try to weasel out of it, it all comes back to your own incompetence.

There's nothing wrong with asking people not to argue over opinions. Thing is - that's not even what was happening. Someone essentially implied my opinion was wrong, I told them it makes them look silly to say someones opinion is wrong.

But I'm all about this back and forth ending too as there's little point really. If I ever see you driving a GTR in game I'll be sure to share my opinion with you on how ugly it is! haha

There is no problem with the GTR. The problems with the lack of understanding of the beholder. If people were more knowledgeable about cars/modifying and racing they would get it (Business FIRST style second) Racing exhaust get crazy hot and some literally spit flames WTF do you think that does to plastic bumpers? Plus every bend in a exhaust line creates more restriction stealing your HP, Racing exhaust are designed to be as straight and restriction-less as possible to get the most gains, surprise surprise the exhaust designed to be quiet on public roads doesn't cut it....

Did you see that photo of real life GT-R? It has the heat shield and it looks a lot better than that.

PD should spend more time making more detail on that heat shield.

None blinder then those who refuse to see. Was that the mold PD used for their version? He'll some heat shields look worse the the one in GT5. The LEVEL of detail on the heat shield is irrelevant (ohhh snap) it's being there is NO error. While in the real world some look better as I already mentions and you showed us, & some look worse, wether your satisfied with the level of detail or wether they used the best looking heat shield or not is another topic. It's being there as is, is no error...

I can't remember the name of the paint, since I have changed it to dark silver. Looks better on that car.

Second, if you had spent any real time track side, you would know different teams using the same car will do things differently. One team with a GTR may fabricate a fancy heat shield making it blend into the styling of the car immaculately, while another team with a GTR may just slap on metallic reflective tape around it where they feel it's needed.

Weather or not you feel PD used a stylish option is a matter of opinion and irrelevant. There is nothing wrong with it, It's supposed to be there. There is nothing to fix. It's like saying "the Evo is broken since I did a Racing conversion because it's got a wide body kit that doesn't look good, PD should fix it" because in my opinion they should of used a better looking wide body kit.

It's not smart to look at something that is a matter of opinion as something to be fixed to your individual liking.

The fact of the matter is, there is nothing to fix with the GTR's exhaust wether you like it or not, & if you were the perfectionist you claim to be rather someone on a childish rant then you would be more concerned and consumed by the many real imperfections with the game.

Again, that heat shield in GT5 is something you won't see in real life. What the heat shield would look like in real life is in the photo I shown.

As GT5 players, we want our cars to look beautiful especially on premium cars. In fact that the GT-R is premium and it is supposed to look EXACTLY like the real life one. Majority will agree with this.

All PD have to do is to cut out the shield that is covering the paint. See this picture. The shield in real life only covers the plastic.

It is important that premium cars in this game are of a top quality and accurate. We don't want wrongly modelled premium cars in this game.

Anyways, It is a heat shield, the exhaust didn't "Bleed" it's the residue from back fires and just general exhaust. If you don't like the look of the stupid thing take it off, meanwhile us who actually like race-spec street cars love it.
It's not a problem. It's not a glitch. It's an awesome feature.
