Here's a little tutorial I made out of the top of my head.

Let's suggest you want to shop a car.

To outline the car....

Go to View - Toolbars.

If not selected, click control palette. This brings up a box with 2 options. Tool Controls and Brush Tip.

Make sure the Tool Controls tab is selected.

Click on the lasso icon (looks like an squashed oval with a line coming down)

On the Tool Controls window, A box should appear with "Selection type written above it. Make sure "Point To Point" is selected by using the drop down arrow.

You should now be able to neatly outline the body of the car.

To change the colour or the car....

Go to Colors - Adjust - Hue/Saturation/Lightness. Or press Shift-H

At least it is on 5, but it should be the same. :)

Hope this helps. :)

BTW, you forgot 1 bit that I worked out myself :sly: If you hold Ctrl while slecting, you can select more than one thing, this way you can stop your lights, grill, etc from being effected

I didn't really work it out myself, I was reading a Photoshop tutorial and it said if you hold Ctrl when selecting blah blah blah and I wondered if it would work in PSP

Well, I'm gonna go work on my Audi now

oh well :dunce: one of the two, for some unkown reason, in PSP if you hold Shift oyu can add things, as well as Ctrl

but...if I select all the lights, grill, etc and using shift, and the the outline of the car also using shift, it selects only the outline of the car.
