Race: Renault Alpine Cup (Championship Race - 5 races)
Vehicle used: Alpine A310 1600VE '73
(B-spec used; I do the qualifying (Practice))

It was a fine day at the Racing Team J.M.L Racing Headquarters (race no. 48) in Long Beach, California. After their driver got upset after repeatedly losing near Yosemite (Rally Cathedral Rocks Trail I), the unknown driver, from Laguna Beach, Calif., complained about spinning out her Subaru Impreza Rally Car '03 repeatedly at an attempt to bank the mysterious legend Suzuki Escudo (I have one in GT3)), they went to George V Paris to claim their Alpine A110 1600VE '73 by winning the normal and "Reverse" tracks with their Impreza rally car.

Round 1 qualifying in Tokyo, Japan was no better. After spinning out during qualifying, "Nathan" (team's nickname; racing team was formed in July 1996) was sent to the back of the field in 6th place. However, the driver made a tremendous effort and managed to sneak the pole position away from an enemy 1600S '73. She won the race.

Round 2 at Trial Mountain: She didn't bother about qualifying although having a terrifying experience with spinning out in Tokyo. She led that same enemy in Tokyo by about 21 seconds. Like a typical NASCAR driver, she had to complain about car problems like how loose the Alpine was (the car is rear-engine, rear-wheel drive after all), but managed to pull it together to win at Trial Mountain (upstate New York--the mountains, not the city).

Round 3 was one of her favorite places in the world: Paris, France. She tried qualifying again (Practice), but unexpectedly gained confidence. Her luck held out--her risk-taking FINALLY paid off and she qualified pole position! The 1600S driver that was normally in the lead grew a little jealous of this beast of a driver. Disgusted with his bad attitude, she opened up a 12-second lead on him. It grew even larger...17 seconds, 20 seconds, then 22 seconds like the mountainous New York countryside! She managed to win at her favorite places in the world, too. She had 30 pts.; her rival only 16 after three races.

Round 4 was nearby Los Angeles, Calif. (Special Stage Route 5). She had felt so close to home (she lives in Laguna Beach, Calif.), and qualified pole position again just to prove it. Prior to giving qualifying her best effort, she had felt a strange vibration, but it turned out to be her rival bumping her as a failed attempt to jinx her qualifying efforts. And all her rival could do was sit there and defend 2nd place while she won the whole thing. This moved her up to 40 points while her rival was tied with the 3rd place 1600S with 20 pts.

Round 5 is where race officials told her that if she won this race, she would get what few drivers had done before when they won a specific manufacturer's championship race: a "Perfect 50" (a Perfect 50 when I play is when all five races are won in 1st place). But disaster struck in qualifying in Vancouver, British Columbia (Grand Valley Speedway). Like the Tokyo race, she lost control of her car and had to be moved to the back of the field in 6th place. No problem--she moved up before getting sandwiched between two 1600Ss--one of which was her rival. She had opened up yet another big 2-digit second lead on her rival again. It was obvious that she had the championship in the bag. Nobody could catch her. It seemed as if she and her team were shrouded in mystery after suffering a devastating loss to a silver-colored Audi S4 '03. She FINALLY won the championship with her rival only scoring 26 pts. She also won $50,000 for winning the overall championship.

THE PRIZE: Alpine A110 1600S '73. She and her team had really wanted this car so bad. The team itself collects Skylines, Corvettes, and Mustangs. But very little is known about the young driver. Only thing people know when she passes them is that she's in her 20s.

How B-Spec was affected:
B-spec skill moved up to 8861 pts., but the machine skill stayed at 100 (Maximum), course skill at 90, and battle skill at 82.

French Hall > Alpine (1; championship race); you MUST have won an Alpine A310 1600VE '73 by winning both of the "easy" George V Paris races in the Special Conditions hall.

OH that's cool. Thanks. Yeah i can't wait to win an Alpine...i've been salivating over it...me & my brother used to be a bit fascinated with rally racing when we were kids. Alpines used to make history, but most younger people don't know this.
