A request for my Mclaren.

Okay, so just recently I purchased the 1994 black Mclaren F1 for $1,000,000. Its very fast and nimble with its engine response, I love it. But then I discovered a problem. It appears that my Mclaren would end up losing control of itself whenever it is in gears 1 and 2. So I turned on the ASM and it resolved the issue, but the mclaren's steering suffered a great deal. It wasn't very competitve due to the awkward understeering. Does anyone on here knows a way to resolve this issue without the sake of using ASM? Prehaps it may have something to do with the suspension maybe, but I can't tell for sure. Any assistance will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Use a higher gear than you normally would. Depending on your gearing you should be able to pull out of most medium-slow corners in third.

Go to any tune garage on here and see if they have a tune for this car. I really wish I remember who's tune I was using for mine because it's awesome now.

Can you tell me the set up? All you have to do is go to your cars settings and tell me what adjustments were made. It would be helpful also for me to understand more of these types of cars.

I could but it won't be for like 15hrs till I'm at my ps3. That's why I suggested check garages as you can check them all and test everyone's settings in 15hrs lol.

Use this tune, it's bloody fantastic. Also works for a Stealth one too.

Edit: Just read the OP again. You're going to want very long 1st and 2nd. Nearly drag racing style long.

Also if you fully upgrade the car's motor, sometimes these things get very undriveable meaning that the car produces significantly more power at high rpms and very low power at low and middle rpms. This makes it hard to drive in first and second gear. I found this to be the case with the Zonda R.
