A-spec, B-spec, different prize cars?

I might just have a bad memory, but the other day I did the Turbo Sports Cars, professional hall, where I won a very expensive car. I think it was worth 300.000 credits or something like that.

Today I did it again in b-spec, but this time the car was only 42.000..

So, do I have a bad memory, or are the prize-cars in a-spec different to those in b-spec?
