Had a battle with my stock 2000GT vs the orange Dino. That was fun!

Stock '61 Jaguar at 438 PP is a ringer car. I threw out the anchor and cruised to the finish line.

Stock Pontiac Trans Am at 415 PP a winner but not a ringer. I had to work at it and no throwing out the anchor once I was in the lead.

Stock '73 BMW 2002 turbo at 387 PP a win but CLOSE! As was said, not much top speed or acceleration. Won in the turns.

Stock '71 Nissan 240 Z at 378 PP a win but closer than BMW. Had the final straight been any longer it wouldn't have been a win.

All were with DS3 controller.

Or my favorite, 57 BMW 507, unmodified as purchased.

Splurged on this car. What a fun car to throw around! Thanks Shaun!
Thank you. This has got to be the best looking Ferrari in the game. It might not be the most powerful in the range but what a beauty she is. Glad you liked the tune.

Stock '70 Celica (may have had an oil change at some point) for the win. Had to block the Dino a little just at the end. Fun race, time to break out some other classics :)

I used the Miura for this one, Whoosiergirl's tune I believe (thanks again). Easy win.

Didn't even think that car could get into a 450pp race. (Never tried). Any way I can get that tune off you? It's my favorite car in the game. Whoosiergirl's tunes always work well for my style and hadn't seen her post in a while.

Sure man, let me fire it up real quick. I can't say it's exactly her tune, I always mess with stuff to suit my driving style, but she was kind enough to share some bits with me for sure.

I'll go for a shameless advertising spree here and say that all these can win the race with ease even on their Comfort Soft tyres. Both the Europa and Galant do mid to high 56s and the Karmann Ghia is slightly faster with low to mid 56s in my hands, all of them passed the leaders - 300SL, Dino and E-Type respectively - before the Graham Hill bend on the third lap.

Been having an absolute blast in the 1973 skyline gt-r, the two door coupe model. What an incredible car to thrash around this circuit, just made for it. I reckon this is one of the best seasonals for a while, well done PD, great stuff.

All you have to do is drop the car's power and off you go. It will win this race without much effort no tune required if you want to go that route. It is a nice ride no matter what. The Contauch is also a fun run.

laughing at myself...this morning when I raced my 340 Cuda while waiting for the coffee to brew I mistakenly tuned it to 400pp...I noticed it when I got home from work:D I will have to go for another win with it at 450pp

Love the muscle cars in this race. Got bored with the usual fare and just detuned all the muscle cars to run. Let those v8s go.

I already had the car, and the tune, just dropped the power and went.

I've managed a lot of mileage out this event. I have almost every eligible car in my garage (stock) which is 63 specimens. I've been running each car one at a time in reverse chronological order with about 20 to go (most recent was the Honda S600 '64).

Even though there are a lot of underpowered cars it's still fun trying them all out. Just a handful of painfully slow ones (mainly under 300PP) and some pleasant surprises, too. 👍

Love oldies on CH's! Wins with a factory fresh Dino and GT350. The little Ford/Shelby has some fun traction issues on Hards. Stratos is always a challenge with the hard rubber...when I have the patience.

Had some fun in a stock Mercedes 300SL, no ABS. It comes with Comfort Softs so lot's of grip available. Need to watch the mirrors though for a heavy footed Stratos.. :P
