won with the Schwimmy and the Midget..so far I've only been able to get 2nd and a couple of 3rds in the 2CV...wayyy behind the first place rabbit
I already had the prize car so I tuned it up for a little drifting

Honda 1300 Coupe at 400pp. Used SH as I couldn't win with CS: I'd catch up to the rabbit before the final chicane but he'd just put his foot down and I couldn't get near in the left handers

Easily won this in a Chrysler Prowler at 450pp on CS's. I might try it again with something a little more challenging on SH tires, but not for a little bit.

This one comes complete with a matching trailer

This is such a fun track. I have a problem with cape ring full in that its just so long but not this one.

Anything from the NSX to the Peugeot 106 Rally can do this... you dont even need to cut corners although the possibility is there.

Doing this with various hybrid cars at the moment -- really easy win with maxed out Insights (both old and new, they really feel Honda-ish), and quite a nice challenge with a maxed out Aqua S, though I wanted a regular gearbox so bad... It gets 201 HP when fully tuned but the CVT cuts out a lot of the power output (well not really, I mean feel-wise). Still it drives nice (lots of body roll, but it's a good thing since it adds some fun especially in interior view) and managed a really close win even having 2 NSX's in the race...

Was trying to get it done with a Honda Life Step Van '72 but it just seems like it doesn't have enough power for this -- make the gearing longer, it'll sit at low revs and become slow as hell, make it shorter and you'll reach limiter in no time and let them all pass. Though the handling is superb -- got lots of 3rd places with it. If any of you have ideas on how to get the Life to win this, that'll be much appreciated :)

It can be done. Find the grid led by the Mazda RX7 driven by M. Hu. Try not to drop below 50 mph on turn one and swing wide entering turn two, try not to drop below 90 mph anywhere along the sweeper. The tight right hander going into the last sequence usually has traffic so keep trying; eventually you'll get through "legally". On my best try I got bumped off track inside the kerbs, but hey, it wasn't an intentional cut, it was a "racing incident" LOL!

Mitsubishi HSR-II '89 is pretty fun, sucks that only the rear flaps work though. Too bad it's not even semi-premium. Managed to be the NSX Type S driven by G. Monroe pretty easily, best laptime so far was 1:02:3 with it.

+edit+1:01.898.

Made back my money plus some extra, time to try another car!

Hey, that's good to hear. Are you using any particular setup? Mind sharing? :)

I am not a tuner by ANY means.:scared: I just maxed the PP and took wild guesses at suspension. I DID play with the transmission trying to get the best speed I could within 1000 meters on the "X" track ( forgot the name) but that was over a month ago and not being a tuner I didn't write down what I was doing...sorry! I'm a geezer, so gimme a break... LOL!

At any rate, here's what I been driving:

EDIT: I just drove it again with a different grid and won again, so my earlier post about getting a specific grid is bogus. And this time mine was a clean lap! (the rabbit cut the last corner, but I ws already ahead of him, ha!)

The track name is Route X :) anyway I managed to win with your setup! Fastest car was a R32 GT-R here as well... Yeah man!
