And after about 20+ attempts, endless tweaking of the transmission and the benefit of a weak opposition, the maxed-out (to 450pp) Kubelwagen finally won:

Simple race. Could have used one of a hundred cars but I thought id go old school and give myself a bit more of a challenge.

Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto CN.2521 '61

Yesterday I finally won my last two Super Licence events.:P I was wondering how best to reward myself when I remembered this post. Thanks for the idea/inspiration @shaunm80 . I'm now the proud owner of one!

Oh, and it won first time out in this race too!

Even beginner event, got hit at the rear side by the rabbit after over took it on lap 2. Lucky never over spin. Use the same spec as FITT Old & New Hatchback Tuner Challenge with my own online tune, 410PP CS for the Monaco track.

I always use my Honda S2000 for every 400/450PP race. Rules permitting anyway. Dunno why but I like this car alot, minimal engine stuff, ECU, sport exhaust, double plate clutch n weight reduction and el cheepo hard suspension and racing brakes, but mostly just so I can paint them haha. I've always won first try. Oh, I do have a close ratio tranny for tracks that need it but for this I used stock. I like to use Rays GTS wheels cuz when I paint them gold only the center is painted, the outer ring stays chrome for a cool 2 tone effect.

I wish there were nicer looking 5 spoke wheels available. I know there's a couple nicer than the Rays for some cars but I like the 2 color paint effect.

Edit: Oops, I disabled the weight reduction to make the PP.
