I tried to win in the 2CV but it was too slow. Took out the Postman Pat van which easily smoked and sparked it's way around to victory (shame the sparks hardly appear in photo mode). I'm sure we had this exact same Seasonal not long ago, but I'll have fun trying to win in the slowest possible cars.

I chuckled at the 5th place driver called A.Honda, who is indeed driving a Honda.

Should be able to pass Honda in a Renault

I just re-ran this event with a 420PP Renault Sport Clio R.S. '11 replica from @Ridox2JZGTE on Comfort Sport tires. You can win the race with the tune set exactly as Ridox instructs, but you might want to adjust the Final Gear for more top end speed. Otherwise you'll be bouncing off the rev limiter quite a bit and you won't take the lead until the end of the last lap.

Or you can win it with the unmodified Lancia Stratos on CS tires.

Oh, sweet mother of god, haven't we done this event like three times before? Ugh.

Instead of using my Integra, I snoozed my way through this with an S15 Silvia-R. I used the clutch and shifter, totally had a brain-fart on turn 2, and still managed to win by a massive margin.

Why can't the easy races at least have faster cars? The two ideas aren't mutually exclusive.

Or, better yet, weird entry requirements. How about unmodified cars? Or small cars? Convertibles? Some variety?

Eh, whatever. It was more entertaining than doing arcade races, I guess. :)

Or just use unmodified cars with no abs and no assists.

I just completed this event but the game crashed when it was giving me the car!

Now every time I load seasonal events it crashes the console!

If there is one way to make this event fun, this is it. And if you want to be really adventurous, you can try CM.

Full monty CH and for a real hoot, put them on a Veyron then race in Monaco. Some are more dumb than others. Me? I am particularly stupid.

While not really much a regular anymore on the GT circuit, I do compete still in GT6. I used my 1991 Acura NSX in this challenge and won. It was another one of those times where I haven't played in a while and decided to shake off the rust. I made sure my NSX didn't slide crazy in the corners to pick up the win. I still got it done and won.

another way to make this event more challenging is this:

1. take a 450 pp ff car, which is fully modified
2. tune it for this particular race
3. set the suspension to its lowest setting
4. give the rear wheels the maximum amount of camber.
5. enjoy the monster you just have created

I tried it with the Mini Marcos GT '70 and the mini Cooper 1.3i '98 and it became near impossible to win this event with a ds3.

Agreed, I tried the Mini Marcos GT '70 but couldn't get close. LOL

My thoughts exactly

Been trying the Marcos Mini Marcos GT '70. I've left the car tuning stock and just added all tuning options but engine tuning and turbo. I'm able to get to 3rd within 4 seconds of the leader. The two rabbit NSX's I keep getting are hard to catch in this little car. I've turned off all assists. I'll have to see if I can find a tune to help out. :)

I was able to use the Mini Marcos and win by over a second against one of those NSXs by drafting it on the second lap and it got up to around 138 mph or so. That Mini Marcos is a slug on the straights but easily out-handles the NSX. Are you trying to beat it by using no tuning at all? Sorry if I'm making a mistake that you're deliberately handicapping yourself below the 450 PP limit. It was fun to use the Mini Marcos because I never considered it. I was using easy win cars like the RUF Boxer and Hommel and Dino and bunches of dull family FF cars I never usually use.

Yes, I was trying to see if I could get it to perform as stock without any tuning. :)
