Ok this damn race. If you draw the Rocket and the Caterham expect them to do a 1-2 and you're likely to be 20 secs plus adrift.

So far I've been able to draw a race where the lead car is the 111 Street and in that case it becomes too easy.

I was able to get 2nd place by the 3rd lap so you have two laps to gun the Lotus 111 down. It took me about 3/4 of a lap so I had last lap where I cruised home to a 20 sec plus lead.

208hp 590kg Rocket.

And that concludes seasonals for this month. See you again in April.

This will be a bit of work. Rocket rabbit can do an 8:13, so need 1:30 laps. Fun though going flat out around the curves. There are slower fields with looks like 1:35 laps to win so choose your poison.
Think the Spitfire can pull off a 1:30 lap??

I used the Elise 111R, of course, and won both times I raced it, but not by the largest of margins, and would have been right at home if this was a drift challenge. More practice (re: fun) is in order!

Betcha a twenny you'll be doing more races before the end of the month. ;)

Lucky me! After couple of tries I've found a race without Rocket '07 and/or Fireblade '02. Elise 111R demolished it's competitors with ease.

Sounds like the Elise, Rocket and the Xbow do the job easy. But why its night on the track? That ssr **** is always dark

Narrow but thrilling and clean victory on my first try using the Brands Hatch seasonal tune by @matej2547 with very delicate steering inputs. (Don't add power parts to keep the pp down.)

Overlap throttle with brake when start turning in. Part throttle when coasting into the apex seems to help the car turn. So keep the throttle on, even after you finish braking.

There are faster ways to drive the car. But this made it 10x easier to control for me with DS3. I nearly spun 3 times braking into turn 1 before I realised light steering and throttle overlap is needed!

Only ABS 1, usually I need TCS. The power is low, grip high and corners fast. Suits me nicely. Thank you PD!

Increasing front brakes and decreasing rear will add stability to the back end under heavy braking. You can also use a higher value in the LSD deccel setting.

Another Gold tune from @shaunm80 for the Elise 111R. Forgot to raise the power so I ran this race at 500PP and still won by about 5 seconds. Sorry for no picture. I'll be running this race a lot because I know this track like the back of my hand, so I'll post a picture for my next win. Many thanks to @shaunm80 whose tunes has gotten me numerous golds.

I got 3rd with my first attempt using the Fireblade - @Denezin please share your tune! You add a lot of weight to get decent power, I guess?

Nearly the whole track was full throttle because I hate adding ballast to my little buzzy bee.

I used @shaunm80's tune for the 2011 Elise, put the power to 100%, and added an exhaust manifold and intake tuning. Stomped all over the Caterham, around an 18 second victory.

However...it will not beat the Rocket.

I wonder if anyone has had any luck with the 1,200kg power limited McLaren F1 and MP4-12C. Both were used to reasonable effect in the last few lightweight challenges.

I fear the 330 odd hp with 1,200kg may be too much of a challenge unless you draw a race where your only threat is the Lotus 111.

Did it on the first shot in a Rocket, against D. Papp in his Rocket. Caught him in the last turn before the chicane, where he got caught by traffic giving me an even bigger lead. I nearly exited out of it when I saw a Rocket rabbit, but he slows down the last two laps.
