Yes Virginia, there is a RABBIT! His name is Calvo, or Salvo, and he drives a Silver Pagani S-7.3!! That is 444 cubic inches Virginia, in case you didn't know, wait a minute, that is the size of my Ford F-350 diesel engine in that teenie little car?!?! Lordie Lordie, what is the world coming to?
You can usually clear out the rolling roadblocks by lap 3, but Salvo is so far ahead by that time that you can become anxious, worrying that he has too much lead on you. Fear not my stalwarts, carry on at your ground eating pace and you will catch him.
If you are unable to catch him by the end of lap 5, then restart the race so that the One 77 is the lead starter, not the Pagani. I can usually catch him around the chicanes leading into the carousel before the finish line.
I used Shaun80's excellent tune of the Ferrari 458 Italia (2:09 lap times) for the win with the Aston Martin One 77 as leader, but then switched to the MP4-12C McLaren, using Bowtie Muscle's most excellent tune for that car. I tried a couple of other tunes but none were as good as the Bowtie Tune, giving me 2:07 lap times. I went into the lap time board to examine what the A.I were running, and found they were all "Comfortably Numb" as David Gilmour would say, running 2:14 to 2:22s?!?!
So, hope that is of some help for people who might be discouraged by the "RABBIT with the cute rubber band around his neck" After you pass the Pagani, he is glued to your butt all the way to the finish line, Ha Ha.
Cheers, Pete
