Today I had another go around with the rabbit GTR LM. I bought another RX7 Touring car and used @GhostRider65 tune with only a small adjustment to the rear toe and a higher brake adjustment. I caught the GTR at the beginning of lap 5. I had passed him right before the corkscrew and pulled away. Great tune @GhostRider65 . I have used several of his tunes mixed with mine to suit my driving style.

Mazda RX-7 Touring Car 600 PP (RH) . Total laps : 7'26'064 (best lap 1'20'062)
Mazda RX-8 Concept LM Race Car 600 PP (RH) . Total laps : 7'40'504 (best lap 1'22'153)

Good drive and enjoy
Your Mazda RX-7 Touring Car 600 PP (RH) is very good my friend :), and I did not change anything on the car. I did have the GT-R LM in the field but it kept on going of the track twice, I guess it could not handle my speed in the race

Thanks a lot my dear friend Fordy for having tested and used this Mazda. It's a real pleasure for me to read yours comments and your enjoy. Thanks again my dear friend :cheers::cheers:

Except for the slippery track, the roadblocks and my lack of tuning finesse, i liked this race and think the time is quite OK

Laguna Seca - TS030 Race.jpg

Variance of fields makes the difference for a good time. In a few tries i had first laps ranging from low 1:16 to mid 1:18, best laps from mid 1:14 to 1:15.131 in this race. Less than half a second slower than @mary ann per lap is not too bad for me though :). Maybe i'll try again later with a different - better - tune.

Nissan GT-R LM NISMO '15 stock with power reduced to hit 600 PP is next on my list when my body feels better

I tried a few different cars today. Out of the bunch of 5 I only had one win. That win was in the Mazda RX7 LM Race Car with @GhostRider65 tune, This one I only changed the rear toe 2 clicks as it was slightly understeering when exiting the corners. The rest of the cars I end up P2 every time. I'm just going through my list of cars that can be run at this event. I did run the Mazda LM55 but it was way too easy and I felt like it was cheating. When I race I try my best to match cars that are in the event and want my win to be a clean one. No chrome horn, no short cuts and just fun. I'm sure if I had taken those cheats I would have won all 4 of the other races as each car had the potential to win, it was my driving especially because of the chrome horn. I could have punted them into the big sand trap at the last left hander onto the main straight. I still have 6 or7 Nissans to run as well as Toyotas and European cars. I think my next choice will be the Calibra and then my GTR LM. Happy racing:cheers:

Well it took me longer than I thought to win with the '69 Z/28 Race Car. Today I was in the Camaro from last night. I went to the previous event and found a tune by @WhoosierGirl. I also had a tune from @skeagracing. I tried both. It didn't matter which tune I used I kept coming up short in P2. The I noticed that on the @WhoosierGirl the toe was negative 20 in both ends of the car. I changed the -20 on the rear to 0.20 on the rear and the car became alive. I was able to run down the AI by the beginning of lap 3 3 rd place at the beginning of lap 4. The car was just not stable which from @WhoosierGirl made no sense because all of her tunes I've used have been winners. I had what I'd call a weak field to run against but after nearly a dozen tries I finally won.👍👍👍👍. I am going to make a couple more changes and see if I can run against the McLaren F1 and the GT-R LM and win. So I give 👍👍👍👍👍 to @WhoosierGirl for this tune. I miss you but we have another very talented driver @mary ann :gtpflag:

If you have good repetitive laps it does not matter what rabbit you go up for the win.

How do I get to Ghost Rider's tune for the rx7 touring car? I click on the link but all I get is a status box or something. No link to web page or anything. If I'm missing something obvious, that's kind of par for the course.

I can't keep the rear end of that car tucked in behind the front ones for anything. Kicked off my boots and driving in my socks, even.

Definitely a MoneyMaker for me. Winning even with sleepy-head, or overshot (once) into sand. Love this TT since GT2 or GT3, can't remember..

I had another go with the '69 Camaro Race Car against a different field. No adjustments to the car since it's the one I used to win a few days ago to get my 1st win with this car. It was still a lot of fun since this car really sticks to the track. I had a very minor contact with the NOMAD Diablo in the corkscrew on lap 3 but I didn't show any damage on either car. I'm going to try the new Camaro LM Race Car since it has been in every field I've run against. Many thanks to @skeagracing for all the help teaching me how to tune. I wouldn't consider myself as a tuner though I have learned how to take a bad tune to a good tune and have won several times with my own tunes. Thank you @skeagracing.

Lucky B******

@OscarW @Dashyankuro The wealthy student who purchased the street version of the car was required by Mercedes Benz by contract as part of the purchase to spend one day with me at Watkins Glen. Benz my sponsor did not want to get sued by the owners if he got into an accident on the public roads because he was not taught how the car handles and how to drive it . After the school was done the indemnification/hold harmless agreement went into effect. The reason for this precautionary measure was as a result of a 10 million dollar law suit filed by an owner who claimed that he was not properly instructed on how the car handles/drive after driving it off the MB dealership and getting into an accident. The claim was settled out of court.

What a fantastic tune 👍👍👍👍👍 @skeagracing ! I don't think I have ever driven a car in GT6 that handles that well. My laps times were all in the low 20's with the final lap being a high 1.19. I thought originally that I hadn't used this car and was wrong. It had a tune on tab A from @praiano63 which was not bad but nothing to compare yours. If all of my cars were this good I'd be close to the aliens. I can thank you enough. It was so much fun but I didn't have a lot of time. I had to go to the VA and do the hurry up and wait thing. When I have more time I am going to run it against the McLaren BMW. I'm having an issue with my phone and the connection to my PC. Once I get it sorted I'l post my win.
