Ah, rally races... so great, but so rare. Had some fun with the Pikes Peak Quattro, the 2008 premium WRCs (C4, Focus and Impreza), and finally, some Group B monsters (Delta S4 and RS200).

Hope they give us some snow in the next one.

I tried the Celica you get for winning, no tuning, no power upgrades, just the stock racing car, 482 PP. I had the quattro in the lead which would pass me on the straights but I got the lead for the final time after the jumps and held it through the curve, there wasn't enough room for him to pass me before the finish from there, or else the AI just let me have it. You don't need much of a car to win here, sad, Rallys are too rare, they should be an event like Super Laps/Time Trials, Drifts etc.

This is an easy price grabber, 200% : ), I think with any decent rally car. I Used the Mitsubishi Lancer X.
For some reason I like driving Toscana. Though I remember the Sebastian Loeb challenge in GT5 was prettty difficult....

And done on my third try in the '03 Mitsubishi 412pp with a 6:10 overall time just ahead of the RSC Rally Raid. Though I passed him really early on lap 3 and we bumped a little all the way around until the big jumps where he hit turbo boost but I slid underneath him at the last right hander.

Gonna try against the S1 Quattro. Seems it's the fast one. Delta S4 in the line up also. :mischievous:

Edit: 6:08.806 for P2 right on the back bumper of the S1

Edit: done. :D

I had a few second places against the S1. The only time I got in front was when the Lancia started on pole and was holding up the quattro. Passed them both in one move then with victory in sight got over-excited and messed up the last bend. At that point I gave up and found a slower rabbit in the CZ-3 Tarmac Rally Car.

Dirt racing is not my forte lol! The best I could manage so far was 4th place!
Just brake/steer early with delicate throttle. No need to rev until redline (less 1k+ rpm b4 redline) for gear change. Every stock car or lesser PP than regulation still can win it easily.

I had a blast in detuned 500pp renault maxi 5 rally car. Apart from non stop sliding it strugles on the short uphill sections. Won on my 5th try on the ds3 (only abs1, other help is set to off).

you, sir, are my hero. I've taken so many cars to a win on this event, even the 5's little brother (R8 gordini), but the R5 rally car was just about impossible.

I've had so much fun from this event. I find it easy to win, but I'm still pretty inconsistent on dirt.. but damn! it's fun sliding around.

Only used 4WD's so far, not sure if I have the skill for a RWD. But hey plenty more 4WDs to buy :D
