For the most part, I used my tuned Maserati GranTurismo S for this event. Then later, I decided to run my BMW Z8 for this event. I did something with the Z8 I never did with the GranTurismo S after one race- take the lead on Lap 2. I gave the car all the upgrades that don't raise the PP. Sicne I thought it would lack power, I got the Level 3 Engine upgrade but then reduced its power to stay within the 500PP limit. I felt good about this car and its performanc for a number of reasons. First off, it is a lightweight roadster- which would fare better around a twisty street circuit than a heavy GT coupe. It makes decent power. And most of all... it's a BMW. :) So I was pleased to win rather easily with this car than I did with the GranTurismo S. Also, I've always loved the Z8. One of the last beautiful BMWs besides the E43-type BMWs and the various late 1990s, early 2000s BMWs.

So if you want a car to take on this course, try the BMW Z8. At least it worked for me much more than the Maserati GranTurismo S, which is also good.

20151013_212607.jpg I won this one with the '04 Elise 111 with the tune from @shaunm80. This car is a blast around Madrid and really eats up those roundy rounders. 1st place before the beginning of lap 2. Sorry no picture. I'll run it again and take a picture and do an edit to insert the thumbnail.

Thumbnail now added.

I was actually considering using my Elise in the past when taking on this event. I was somehow compelled to use my BMW Z8 instead. Excessive grinding with the Z8 has me winning this event at least 30 times. It is a great challenge.
