You gotta love this game

Had to use 500pp and sports soft to keep up though. And my 'Midnight Racers' tune.

Heh I tried it with the Sambabus as well. That's a challenge in itself. You have to keep the revs up constantly or you lose speed. I managed to take 1st without using the shortcut at the end though! Ok, so I do swing wide on the first turn though. Bah. No way around that one. It's funny how fast you catch up on the U turn and from there you just seem to pass them with ease.

My A110 '72 was to slow with its 400pp. The 365 tuned at 500pp was to fast but my 246GT became the 450pp competitive winner...

Look how fast I passed the Ferrari SP1 in the last turn in a Fiat 500 F '68 to win the race! Laughable! Did the Ferarri SP1 driver forget where the gas pedal was located? What's almost as funny is my attempted hit & run in that last turn, but I guess my Fiat's measly 483 kg of weight wasn't enough to even budge the 1450 kg Ferrari SP1 one inch out of the way!

He probably didn't punt out of the way 'cause his foot was on the brake pedal when you hit him! Great video! Thanks!

I just used @GTP_CargoRatt tune on the SVT Cobra and this car is a blast to drive even with a DS3. I know Mitch uses a modified G27 so for this car to work so well with a DS3 I can't imagine how good it would be with a wheel. As the old sayings goes, "Try it and you'll like it." Excellent tune!👍👍👍👍👍

Edit: Mine had already had an oil change and rigidity improvement but the tune was not effected. Mine was at 500PP, 349 HP/554.2 Ft/lb torque and weighed 1303 kg. I did my own custom gearbox. None of this changed the way the car handled. It is on rails!

I did all three A-spec races with only Camaros.

Inter was way too easy with a '10 SS. Only changed tyres and oil. Beating F430's, LF-A's, GT-R's and the like in such a car is bordering on silly.

I tried the Fiat as well, thanks for showing that one could win disabledracer. It makes for a hilarious replay.

Speaking of which, how do you guys make those replays show. I have a youtube account, but I'm not sure how you get the replay to convert to a video. I have an interesting glitch I'd like to show. It's a Honda HSC with the power of the Chaparral 2j somehow in it now. I only knew what car got stuck in it since the gears are a giveaway. It's weird having a 2J that you can run in 400pp races now.

Another car I tuned that can be used to win this event pretty easily.

Yet another car I just tuned last night that can easily win the race and is a joy to drive.

Good grief, the slowest AI I've seen since the Sierra events. No corner cutting, no contact, no blocking.

:lol:

I've seen AI in that race go much faster; could be you threw them for a loop with the Midget.
I mean . . . who would take a Midget to battle supercars . . . unless . . there was something about the Midget's arsenal. :sly:

I wanted to win this event so badly in a bare bone stock premium car with real shifting and all assists off (apart from ABS=1 and BSI=ON). Failed in the Ferrari 365 GTB4 several times yet so close, failed even worse in the Merc C 63 AMG, Alpha 8C, TVR Tuscan Speed 6 & TVR Tamora before eventually going back to the 365 and win it. For me it's one of the ugliest Ferrari's in the game but it sure has a lot better handling, grip and speed than the other cars I mentioned here (all in stock form).

using stock tires (sports hard)
using H-shifter and 3 pedals (G27)
using bonnet camera

And that's coming from someone who changed from automatic transmission and all assists on to this setup less than 2 weeks ago since I was still doing the Autumn Ring revere event the old way. Damn proud of myself lol!!! :)
