Did this in my BRZ GT300 with zero aids. Thoroughly enjoyed this one, was a wild, chaotic chase of the rabbits but so much fun. Will likely do this again with some other rwd cars just for kicks.

Didn't take long to gold this using my stock Corvette Stingray Racer Concept 59. Very twitchy but plenty of controllable oversteer, which is always fun :D

The Arton Senna got this one for me with ease. Lot of fun driving that little thing too. I'm finally starting to learn this track well enough to enjoy it. It's actually a lot of fun once you know the exact speeds and entry points to the corners well enough to pick a car with some slide to it.

Anyone having trouble should just use the Asparadrink Rx-7. It's pretty overpowered for this. I used it on my first try and realized it was big time overkill.

I won with the Mini VGT and the S2000 LM. It took two tries with the Mini because I ran a
1.19 1st lap then 1.14 - 1.15 the rest finished 2nd. Next time out I won by ~2 seconds. Used the S2000 LM by about the same thing. After I finally figured this track out I think I like it now.

the FWD race cars are kinda funny

they generally have good power at the expense of everything else

With TC off you can wheelspin from 2nd -> 4th all the way on the hairpin after the straight that goes up the mountain... that mountain is also a pain in that with 500pp cars you are power limited so you can see the speedo tick over very slowly as you climb... all the VW GTs, the Integras and Citroen Xsara

Actually very few cars feel truly powerful over this track at 500pp... the 340hp Spoon S2000 feels like the most powerful car there ie, you have to brake and no got flat out... obviously stuff like the 300hp GT300 BRZ is just underpowered here

I would be very disappointed if the expert seasonal became any easier, we have the three levels of difficulty for a good reason and I hope it stays that way. The current expert race and the previous one were very enjoyable to do. 👍

As for this intermediate race, I have so far done it with the 'Calibra Touring Car' and the 'RS200 Rally Car', for both cars it was simple yet fun wins. :D
I thought the current expert ones are ok atleast.

The previous, on the other hand....

Just tried the s2000 race car. Thing is pretty fast but can get hairy. If you're not careful passing on the big hills you just spin and spin. Fun car, but alas, it doesn't have interior, probably won't drive it again.

Funny this is exactly what I used (250 GTO and your awesome tune) without reading this thread.

Thanks again, shaunm80!
No worries. This car is very good. It is great to win this race in a classic car and this one really puts a smile on your face.

Ran the... Ferrari 250GTO stock/no aids but with Sport Hard tyres. Close run thing, and every corner is a place where, you as a driver, can muck it up!

May have to give the tune a try - see if you can get a win with comfort tyres

Great event but I prefer Rotenboden over Dristelen. Dristelen is used too much in the game imo while Rotenboden is the must fun track, but barely used.

Disagree. Rotenboden is terrible compared to Dristelen. Roten is tight like a exhibition tarmac rally for no good reason.

Then again, Dristelen has too many very open fast sweepers but I think that is more acceptable especially to novice.

I did B Spec S Class Nürb event. RS tires and turn off pit stops. Lotta money for hitting a button a few times. It takes a bunch to get it down to 500pp. Others let it go in circles around the Indy oval but had to tape down throttle and steering slightly to the right.
