A-spec points problem

ok, so, i got myself a low horse power car, (honda element, around 400 HP) fully tuned, and i go to the beginners events (best match for the car) and, it says at the beggining 190 point race, so, i race, win, it says 190 aspec points, i do thins like 5 times in a row to get near 2000 points to get the supposed paint shop. i go to my home it says 201 aspec points, is this because repitition, or soething else?

You only get a maximum of 200 A-spec points for any one race. It is not cumulative. You cannot go back a repeat the same race and get the A-spec points ago. You CAN redo a race and get the difference though - if you went back and did the race for 200 points you'll get the 10 point difference credited.

There is no paint shop.

You mean 2000 A-spec points right? I don't know of any car in GT4 that can have 2000HP without a Gameshark or AR, etc. Imagine top speeds in that sucker Anyway, the paint shop definatley doesn't exist in GT4.

You mean the same sites that said you could pick your prize car in GT3 by pressing the 'X' button at just the right time?

Anyway, if you feel so confident that a "paint shop" exists, keep trying, and when you find it, post a pic of it here.

The used car lists are very repetitive, wait long enough, and you'll find the car you want in the color you want. That is, if it's available in that color in the first place.

It may have to do with this old thread in which I couldn't help myself to provide 'proof' of a special section in GT4.
