I think the HP logo on the airbox of the Ferarri is overhated. The front rear wing longs are poorly implemented but the air box logo looks fine. Much better than the awful green Mission Winnow logo we saw on it. I think in time it'll be somewhat iconic and always paired with the Hamilton Ferarri era, similar to how TicTac looked a little odd, but immediately connected to Schumachers 2000s domination.

Since I’m an F1 noobie all over again, other than car color are teams not doing “Powered by ____” any longer? Are ICE branding redundant or just better not to post a sticker where a sponsor can use that real estate?

At the moment there's really no need to point it out as it's not exactly a sponsorship thing anymore, just a client contract. When RBR starts using their own Ford-branded engines and GM finally gets their own program going in a few years, that may become more prominent again.

Yeh the VCARB is okaaay.

I think the white on the wings ties in with the white on the engine cover and actually has a bit of a retro feel that almost works - interested to see from more angles and in motion. Along with the darker red has late 80s, early 90s feel - much better than the bright red with white and red mchappy meal option.

I think the main thing the VCARB has going for it is that it's bright. After a few years of getting more and more exposed carbon and cars just getting darker and darker liveries, it's refreshing.

The little Red Bulls are a nice touch & I like that it conveniently pairs well with Yuki's helmet.

Wow the cars are huge. I've seen the comparison from the first F1 cars to last year, but wow. The driver is cocooned. Might as well add a fighter jet canopy.

The VCARB looks professional, but I wish they used the same blue Bull pattern again just slightly towards the front of the car to balance it out.

A small pattern in front of the side air intakes maybe.

The FIA has their own version of events during F175 about the booing of Max and RB:

"But what underpins sport at all levels is a culture of respect. As such, it was disappointing to hear the crowd's tribalist reaction to FIA Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen and his Red Bull Team Principal and CEO Christian Horner, at the F1 launch in London.

“Max and Christian have both contributed greatly to the sport we love. In the season ahead we should not lose sight of that.

“As part of the FIA’s commitment to protect the integrity of the sport, we are leading a coalition tackling online abuse in sport under the banner of our United Against Online Abuse campaign.”
While the FIA are doing their best to calm things down and prevent inflammatory comments, the booing doesn't come from tribalism, but one of sportsmanship and respect, something severely lacking from the targeted parties.

Don't get me wrong, motorsport is about winning - something which both Max and RB have done plenty of, and deservedly so - and nobody is in sports to make friends, but you can't bemoan demonstrations of displeasure (however incorrect they are) without addressing that maybe, just maybe, the target's actions could be a catalyst.

All I see is just an easy excuse for the Verstappens to not attend even though Max's personality has revealed that he doesn't enjoy these events to begin with.

"That Christian Horner was booed like that, and Max was booed too. Look, then you do it for Formula 1, you are there to promote the sport and then you are booed by the public. I don't think that's acceptable. I get it, because Max is the only one who fires up those Englishmen and says exactly how things are. But I don't think this is acceptable; it's really a disappointment what happened there," Jos noted.

"No, Max has no appetite for that, to be booed like that in front of 25,000 people. He also says: 'If this is in England next year, they definitely won't see me'."

Ah yes the tribalism that came from the sport as well as the fans. Take one look at the F1 social media feed, they're not trying to discourage it.
