A very true story. Fatmouse is still unmoved, mind you

Once upon a time, there was a chap. He played GT2 a lot but was bad at it. But he was in uni and decided to learn more about GT2 using Uni's internets. To get better. He found one good site (still exists) and then found another site, which was called GTPlanet.

After posting a hundred times, this chap could get a new user title AND a new avatar; how sweet was that! But posting so much in the GT2 forum was hard, as not many other people posted that much there.

So this chap clicked 'forums' at the top of the page and alas! Moar..moar.. everything!

So he got into an argument with Sandstorm (:sly:), found the Test forum and spent the best part of 2 years talking about the Color Blue 👍 (in this chap's defence, his first job out of uni was bollocks so it was time begging to be used constructively), started a few auto clubs, got into a few stoushes and got stuck into the Music forum.

F.Zamataki was a hoot, as was the 133t h4x0rn3zz dor1ft0 phase. The 'Jokes and Funny Pictures' forum was a riot, and so was the 'Guess that Plane' thread. Fatmouse was unmoved, multiple times, and remains to be. Luckily, the Chancellor of the Fatmousery is still shuffling about the shed out back. milefile crushed Tercel_Driver a few times, Rumple_Foreskin was borderline and we still miss klostrophobics avatar's.

Then because life and a molehill, said chap walked away from it all and 4 years went by. Such is life sometimes. :indiff:

Then GT5 was about to come out and so began the momentous challenge of figuring out a 4 year old password, because there is only one place to learn about GT.

Return as anything other than his old profile? Never! But this chap is passable as intelligent and cracked the case of the lost password. Victoire!

Return accomplished! But so many new faces, and so many old ones vanished. Happily, so many old faces still about and many new faces who uphold what GTP is all about.

And so this chap got back into the swing of things, and made new friends and banned new twits and got brought back into the fold.

Ay GTP, it's a good place to be.

 Here is to another 10 years, Your Crotch

Nice one Mike! From a fellow GTP dectarian (I still don't think this is a real word) with a similar tale to tell.

Here's to the next ten years... when we'll all be older and more bitter and moan about all that modern music and those idiots in the drag racing forum... hang on, that was ten years ago! :indiff:

Congrats Brad  I've got some way off reaching that milestone but I'm sure I'll make it eventually with people like your good self about 👍

Congratulations! 👍

I finally worked out that user-name of yours.

Congrats. 👍

You figure it out as soon as you say it through a microphone on GT5.
By then it's too late of course, you've already said your crotch is online. :ouch:

Congrats Brad 👍

Next drink is dedicated to this seriously awesome achievement :D

Your Crotch,

Congratulations. This place is better with you around so don't leave again! Best of luck for the next 10 years.

I only worked it out yesterday because I was watching a Battlefield 3 video and I saw a player killed with the name Mike Rotch. My thought was, "I could have sworn the one on GTP plays on PS3, not PC". So I Googled Mike Rotch to see if I was missing something with a TV show, movie, or video game and the first result told me exactly what it worked out to be.

For your thread, you win a Mugen Accord, SiR-somethIng err otheR. Unfortunately, if you trade it in, you only get 25% of the sale price, but you won it anyhow, so how would you know its true value? Thus, if one complains, the value is well and truly nil.

And that's why we keep coming back to GTPlanet, MR.

Ten years minus the four you were absent means I've been here longer than you. :dopey:

I'm more impressed you remembered your password after all that time!

Congrats, Brad!

But...but...but....Well, at this rate it will take me another 5 years to get to your post count anyway :P

Who are you again?! 10 years??? Time to get a life, bud...*goes off to post in the GT5 section about Porsche being in GT5, but some idiot named it RUF by mistake*

Congrats! Heres to another 10...

Fatmouse has been missing for far too long.

Ten years? Pfft... that's a trifle. Congrats!

Congrats Brad. 👍
One of many nice members around here.

We'll (well me really) have to catch up for a few rounds of BF3 soon, sadly I just haven't had the chance of late to play. I think it's been about four weeks. :grumpy:

Here's to another ten mate.

Cheers Shaun.
