What's the definition of a supercar or hypercar though?

There are lots of cars that are a debatable if they are sports coupe or supercar.

As it is a FR restriction, here is my personal list of super/hyper cars in GT5. I went off price and power.

Looking at this list, you must remember. Most super and sports cars are mid engined, the RUFS are rear engined and the rest of the supercars are 4WD

You forgot the Dodge srt10 and gts

M3 GTR, Lanica Stratos and other homoglation cars allowed? :)

Would have classed the standard M3s a sports coupe but I don't mind it's one of my favourite drift cars anyway :)
CSL would be borderline supercar alright.


RUFs are definitely a supercar though for any of the 911 based versions. Boxter is kinda sports car really.


I like last weeks track, first corner is easy enough once you go for a big handbrake entry to scrub off speed. Just getting the timing right and speed before you intiate is the tricky part :embarrassed:
 
The speed was my problem. I got nervous and went in waaaaaay to fast. A lancia stratos to me is a sports car not a supercar due to lack of power, m3s of any kind are sports saloons. I wasn't allowed to use my amuse s2000 which is a million miles away from the original car (3G more bhp) different appearance etc. I think what they are getting at is that the base car that the model is derived from should be a ferrari (supercar)or lambo (hypercar) rival, or that style of car

Correct, M3's and such like are defiantly not supercar material.
I have a track ready to download if people arnt happy with the previous one. You have to do it in reverse though which is annoying, just one little button from PD saying "reverse track" would make all the difference.
 
I've got to say, i prefer the new one (when done in reverse as you suggested, it's pretty horrible forwards. Overall its a really nice flowing course
