I can imagine the snow tires throwing up sparks while doing burnouts lol ,, don't see why not

It was in every GT game and I can't find a reason why it can't be implemented.

However, if it takes too much time to do so, I'd be happier if PD uses the time for something more useful.

It was not.

While it's great that you're trying to contribute, we do actually have wishlists threads already.
You can find the appropriate thread here 👍

That aside, I really don't see the purpose of this? it would be sort of useful if tracks had snowfall but it would be pointless on a clean surface. The particle effects required for the sparks would cost resources far more useful in other applications and would only really be used by people who are immensely bored.

I'm with UrieHusky on that... I just don't see it being an even remotely valuable use of development resources or system resources.

The wheels that accompany them in GT5 suit some cars, but are not available from the normal selection, and thus don't show up unless you have those tyres on. But you can get them to show "permanently" through save editing... Oh I forgot, that's the Devil's work.

Anyway, the real fix for that is to offer a proper selection of wheels again, which seems like what will happen with GT6.
On the other hand, mixed surface circuits / rally stages are always interesting, and would necessitate the use of the "wrong" tyres at some point. Tahiti maze and Chamonix (GT4) were two tracks that had mixed surfaces, so in fact it has been in previous games...

First off dude have you ever seen what happens when wrc cars use snow tires not in the snow? The spark and have little to no grip or they start tearing up the pavement . There not safe for street use and not alot of rallying uses mix stages anymore so all this would be a wste of game data sadly

The ability to use comfort tires on dirt would be reasonable. Comfort winter tires could be an option too, when you don't want to fit rally tires to your car.
