So....

Now that GT6 is tying with GFoS, and rumours that the game it's self will feature the Goodwood track (both hill climb, and Goodwood Circuit?)

Wouldn't it be cool to have some historic F1 cars? Alfa Romeo 159, Brabham BT3, BRM V16 etc?

Given that Silverstone has historic significance with F1 in itself almost calls for this!

Absolutely. I've been saying this for a while.

I'm dying for the Lotus 49, 79, and 98t to be in GT. Plus I'd really like some 50's F1 cars.

GT just needs more open wheeled cars in general. Everything from Formula Fords, to skip barbers, to Indy cars and modern F1s.

Would also really like to see the faux F1's from GT3 return.

Driving specific historic race cars around historic tracks is basically the main draw GT has for me. The more historic cars the better as far as I'm concerned. And don't stop at F1. Now that NASCAR is in the game, I'd love some classic stock cars. Dale Sr's GM Goodwrench Lumina and his Wrangler Monte Carlo or Grand National, whatever it was. Like one of Petty's old cars, and maybe even one of the really old bootlegger modified cars NASCAR started with.

If you could also paint them how you want after buying them, that would make for some great online racing.

While I agree with I think most of your points, shouldn't this be in the wish list thread?
