Acer Aspire V17 Nitro Touchpad problems

Im not sure if this is the right place to explain my problem so if it isnt a mod can move it. I got this new laptop a few days ago, and will mainly use it for gameing, but there is 1 thing that really annoys me with it. The touchpad gets stuck a lot of times, and it happens now as i write this too and i have no idea how to solve it, i cant believe Acer has a solution for this already, since when i googled more people have this common issues, but i have found nothing so far how to get rid of it, i have to turn my laptop on and off a lot of times to get it to work, but then after a while its just stuck again the mouse and cant do anything when i am in a game its really frustrating and weird for such a expensive laptop to have such a problem like that, does anyone else have this laptop and a sollution for it? I dont want to use a extern mouse or return it to the store.

Having same issue with my e11 aspire notebook. using a wireless mouse is only fix I have heard of beyond taking it back to store or sending it back to manufacturer. I do have windows 8.1 factory installed.

The lesson here is DO NOT BUY ACER.
But try drivers from the touchpad makers website not acers.

Some OEMs are slow to provide updates on their site.

First step is to get rid of any and all Acer bloatware. Second step is to upgrade every device driver to the latest and greatest. Not just the touchpad, but also GPU, network and other drivers. Then you should be good to go. 👍

I have a V15 Nitro Black Edition (i7-4720HQ/GTX860m/16GB) and it works like a charm after getting rid of all the bloat and updating the drivers. Nothing wrong with Acer hardware (pretty standard stuff, so basically identical to other manufacturers), but their software is horrible.
