I have a lot of respect for what F1:CE has done with the AI. However, I think on Hard level the AI drivers should press harder to overtake. The pattern that I notice looks like this:
If there are good AI drivers (Ferrari, Mclaren, Renault) in front of you, they will drive fast & if they get a few seconds lead they are usually impossible to catch, as they just continue to pull away. On the hand, if you are in front - starting from Pole for eg. - the AI drivers tend to drive slower & unless you make a serious mistake, they will not press hard to overtake you.
This seems to me like the opposite of what should happen. Ideally, you would want the AI to not pull away too aggressively when in front, but battle hard to catch you when they are behind. That way there would be a lot more tight racing.
What does anyone else think?
