I've been playing around with one of those local models since last year, here's a few I've made, along with some backstory:
1988 Toyota Prius - Toyota introduced the Prius in 1987 for Japan and 1988 for the rest of the world, it was, initially a slow seller, owed to low oil prices, however, when the Gulf war begun in the early 1990s, sales increased a fair bit, due to the better fuel efficency that the Prius offered.
2012 Suzuki Cappuccino - In 2012, Suzuki chose to resurrect the Cappuccino, which hadn't been in production since 1998. It maintains it's Kei origins, with a 660cc turbocharged inline 3 engine, and was a popular option for drivers seeking a fun, cheap sports car for the weekend.
