Try to practice with a few of us prior to race day.

Send a PSN FR to all of us and hop on when we are on pre race. Thanks.

My mistake; I thought this series was running on Mondays, looks like its Wednesdays, which doesn't work for me. 👎 Good luck with your series:tup:

I'm probably going to run the Puegot..its cockpit view is just sooooo nice....and lately i've been running cockpit view with no other telementry (aside from track map)

These have not be updated in a while but they are a good starting point if you are tuning, they were all set-up by incredibly fast guys .

Thanks to all of you guys who have given me your tunes in the past. :gtpflag:

The spreadsheets have tabs at the bottom labeled for what car it is, and the thread have set-ups posted in them.

Thanks for the tuning help BK.

Put me down for the Bentley. I too, like the supple black leather seating.

So are we making this a cockpit view restricted series? It's starting to feel that way. It's how I'm rolling. Lap times suffer a bit but its more fun.

I really wish this could be forced.

I'm not a fan of that because the cockpit views are very restricted on two of the cars. If it's decided for cockpit view that will decide my car choice. Otherwise I'm really enjoying the cup holder in the 908.

I'm struggling enough as it is. Cockpit view=R0ADRASH drives the safety car

According to my calculations it should take our Fast 3 approximately 64 mins to complete all 19 laps + the pace lap including 3 pit stops.
I was planning on trying to challenge them by running medium tires but I can only manage an average of 3:35/lap, which would leave me a full minute behind with 2 pit stops.
However I also found out that I can one stop the race on hards with the same estimated finishing time of 65 mins.

The only unknown factor is if the front runners will keep their tanks topped off or will they risk running on fumes across the finish line on the last lap? If it is the latter of the two then I will most likely finish about 1-1 1/2 minutes behind them, if they choose to keep their tanks topped off then its a whole different game, and any strategy should render the same total elapsed race time of 65 minutes. Of course that is if everyone stays on track, no pit glitches occur and if we can avoid damage to our cars!

Your running with us again right?

No, the holidays are the busiest time of year, by far, for me. Besides, I know I would get Crushed in this series. (even by the suddenly scholarly Scorp)

I'm currently addicted to F1 2012 career mode. There are a few bugs, but the single player is really intense and enjoyable. Much better than single player in GT5. And ,of course, the single player works better around my crazy work schedule. I definitely do miss racing with you wackos, though. 👍

Well hell...

Put me down with the R8. May not be the fastest car. But i feel the most comfortable in it. Not worth the frustration on my end with full damage trying to run those other options. I'm just happy to finally hit 3.27 flat at la Sarthe.

Gonna try to find sometime to test the Audi tonight or tomorrow before i make my final decision

Does anyone have a 125 go kart they could send me that's got some miles on it ? I don't Have time to break one in

mike46and2
I've only got three hours untill race time please help!

I'll go check... I'm not sure if it has miles.

Edit: Sorry Mike, both of my 125's have 0 miles.

Under no circumstances shift under 3rd gear. Arnage shift up to 4th, then down to 3rd when you get traction.

Look at these guys.....

So BK Baracus. What your saying is play it safe in 4th until your sure you have grip then shift down to 3rd to get your acceleration? What?

No drink holder? Wish i could build a cockpit. I play GT5 in the living room. If i had a PC for sim racing i'd place that in the back room along with a cockpit and turn it into a racing room! Maybe one day...

What a waste....
1600 buys you my whole set-up with money left over.

I agree with BK. I built my rig and it was under $200 including the big office chair. Add a 40" LED TV from black Friday for $250 and I can now race without disturbing the family.

guy's I would like to join this series for race 1, so far, in a peugot if possible, if I have worked this time zone dinky out it makes it Thursday 12PM my time which is easy to make for me,
