I obliterated this once thinking about "airsoft gun," it couldn't guess it at all

It's not so good for figuring out objects that you're thinking of but if it's people or fictional characters it's amazing

That's because it's only programmed to work out people.
 
He guessed Abe from Abe's Oddissey. Aaaaand Richard Harrison from Pawn Stars.

EDIT: Guessed Giorgio Tsoukalos after asking "does your character have asymmetrical hair?" on another try.

Beat it with the Yoshida Brothers and Tokugawa Yoshinobu. Both of which were not in the database.

Evey Hammond ~25... and it came from nowhere. No giveaway question that makes you realize it has it. Just boom, Evey, right when I thought I was going the distance.

Going the distance meaning into the 30s of questions. I knew she'd be in the database.

Started doing it as my sort of procrastination.

Was able to beat him with Rick from TOCA Race Driver 2.
 
Well, since this thread has been revived, I played this akinator. It guessed wrong but the name I was thinking of was second on the list.
 
From my experience of playing this, you have to avoid popular media as well as popular names from any media.

Even then sometimes he gets it, I did a random character from the Buddyfight anime and he was able to get it.
 
I stumped him with Lars Ulrich and I absolutely lost it just wondering how the heck he couldn't know who Lars Ulrich was. Poor Lars must not be as famous as his fellow band mates. :lol:
 
It's scary and amazing at the same time. He guessed Kaz. AND HE GUESSED TAZIO NUVOLARI!!! Sadly he doesn't know Deviantart characters. :P

Akinator correctly guessed Stephen Dedalus for me after getting some Dragon Age character the first time around, which is still pretty amazing.
 
I tried "General Lee" from Takeshi's Castle, the questions were standard, nothing much or specific, but he suddenly got it correct and I was utterly stunned that he hadn't even asked anything about Japan

EDIT: Just beat him with "Jeff" from F1 2017
