All 6 Toyota MR2s tested @ Suzuka!

At the moment only 1.2 bar, thats good for about 300Bhp, I'm on the look out for a certain after market ECU for a custom remap, then I can get into the big figures as it is fully forged and I have a GT3078 waiting to go on.

Cool nice spec! Are you on imoc? I never got mine above standard boost as someone crashed into me before i fitted my new intercooler:/

I love your comparison although the tyre you use renders them kind of invalid! Try using Comfort Mediums as your Sports Tyre and Comforts Softs as your road legal semi slicks and you'll find that you will be much closer to real life times!

Interesting comparison. I was a Mk3 owner, lovely car to drive. I think the Mk 1 is better looking but overall the Barchetta I had won on the looks front.

As a previous poster mentioned I really wanted a 190 swap although there are a lot of turbo'd ones about. You can get a bit more power and torque on the Mk3 just by changing the air intake pipe at the elbow bend. For some reason it includes a restriction. Even doing that, the exhaust and chipping it, I would have still preferred the 190 engine.

I wonder if the OP felt the difference between the older Mk3 with 5 speeds and the new with 6 speeds and an LSD. I think the game versions are like that although a lot of the older UK ones were supposed to already have an LSD.

I was a bit disappointed with the handling of the MR2 Mk3 in GT6. It was better with ABS 0 for some reasons but power over-steer was too easy and in other places the grip was too high. I haven't tried it for about 10 months so I'll have to give it another go.

Well you know what they say:
If you are using Comforts Hard
means you're a racer at heart :D

I thought that the JGTC Supra used legendary 503E..

"The 1997 JGTC series saw the Supra lining up against competition in the GT500 class that included Porsche GT1 and 2 models, the Honda NSX, Lamborghini Diablo and Nissan Skyline. The car was equipped with the 3SG engine, a development of the 16-valve, 2.0-litre unit used in IMSA competition (the 503 engine) and in the Toyota Corolla World Rally Championship car (3SGTE)"
