Annoying isn't it? I've been quite fortunate in situations like that - I've bought the car that I need (to ensure that I don't miss out) and I've managed to persuade the other trader to offer a different vehicle instead and to date they've always been prepared to do this. When you are only looking for one car, like you, then you don't have that luxury.
