All Golds on Licenses

I'm interested in knowing how many of you honestly have gotten 48 golds in the license tests. I think that's absolutely amazing.

I've worked on these things more than you know, and I can only manage to get all golds in the B license (this was a chore in itself, with the last test being quite difficult.) I'm convinced I have the worlds greatest B-2 time however :). Anyways, I can only manage to get 31 Golds, 11 Silver, 6 Bronze. All the B-License. All except last on A-License. 5 on IB-License. 7 on IA-License. And finally only 4 on the S-License. Keep in mind this is after days of doing it.

Anyone have any suggestions on the remainding S-License ones especially. S-8 was a breeze, S-4 and S-5 were pretty easy, and S-6 was too.

Like I said though, I'm somewhat proud and protective of my B-2 License time (the Viper GTS one). 24.711 on that one, worked for hours to get it into the 24.6xx range, but just couldn't do it.

Well, is it possible to offer any help please?

Thanks in advance,

i've (honestly) got golds on B and A, and about half of IB...
B-8 was the most difficult gold to get, i will give you that. A golds are actually easier in my opinion. IA and S golds seem impossible, but if i really spend a lot of time on them im pretty sure i could do it. it isn't required for 100%, but it is a good challenge.

I have all golds on license B,A&IB. I have set myself a challenge to get all golds on all the licenses. I am still on Amateur Races on GT3.

This is my second try after finishing the game before.

i'd like to someday get all golds. i think ib and ia are definately within reach, and so is s, it just take longer. if you screw up on IA you wasted 30 seconds, if you screw up on s u wasted 2 minutes. solution: don't screw up i guess, or use the ghost so u know when it's hopelss...except that the ghost distracts me so i wind up turning it off anyway

Thanks Kyle :)

The last B-License was in fact harder than all the Gold S-Licenses I have in my opinion.

So does ANYONE have all 48 golds? If so that is an amazing and excellent feat, I dont know if I could do it. I mean I'm sure I could if that's ALL I wanted to do, but I had enough trouble with Time Trial 10, that one was tough. It was sort of unusual however, now that I'm talking about Time Trial 10. I could never get better than about 4'55'xxx or so, but the time I won it, something just clicked and I ran a 4'46'xxx. I couldn't believe it to say the least. Has that ever happened to you? When you're racing a license or time trial and one of those races everything just aligns and you just race amazingly. I guess that's what you have to wait for to get some of the Golds on Licenses perhaps.

I used manual on all of them except R-8 (for some reason that was easier with auto). To find out exactly when to shift, you can buy the car if you don't already have it, look where it says what RPM max power is at (it'll say something like 276hp@6500RPM), and try to keep the revs near there. Sometimes these numbers can be very off, especially if you're looking at it in the showroom, so you can try running 400 or 1000 meter tests to find out exactly when to shift. Also, once you have what you think is a good lap, watch the demo, see where the demo pulls ahead (you can see your ghost), and try to improve that corner.

edit: typos

All golds on B and A. And yes, B-8 was a swine of a test. Took hours by itself. Then I did A all gold in a couple of hours. Go figure.... :reallyodd

unbelievable....have just 4 to 5 golds out of the A, B, IA, IB licenses and every time I got a bronze I was amazed how far away from Gold I was. I am now working on the S License. I spent probably 30 minutes just on S-1 and missed it by .3 of a second TWICE! Nearly broke the controller and I had to step back from the table. (Keep in mind that is just to get a bronze)

Cannot imagine getting a gold when I have the accel floored the majority of the time. My hats off to anybody that nails all of these. Impressive!

Thanks, this website is excellent. But 24.290 was it on B-2? I mean wow. Lol. That's amazing to me, that's a full half second faster, and I'm running with about 1/10 of a second spinning out at the line and absolute max redlining every time. I could understand a tenth of a second maybe or even two, but 4 and a half? :) But hey, that's awesome if he did, probably the perfect time or damn close.

Crap, I thought what they meant by sectors was the tenths, hundreths, and thousanths of a second. So I put 24 in the seconds and then 7 <tab> 1 <tab> 1. Crap, It says 24.000 on the time and now I can't delete it Lol I'm an idiot, anyone know how?

Don't worru Presarc. I go there and wonder the same thing sometimes, but you have to remember that most of the people listing times there are some of the oldest, most respected, and quickest online GT racers in the world. It's not easy to measure up to a lot of them.

I have just recently started this game so have 20 golds, 6 silvers and 3 bronze. I forget what B8 was but so far I have all gold in B and A plus 4 in the rally license. 5 silvers & 3 bronze in IB plus 1 silver and 1 bronze in rally. I haven't yet touched IA or the S-class. kinda working on the progressive thing. in getting gold, not only do I get free cars but these are different from cars won in the races or bought. The ones in the licenses (from the 2 that i have) have more horses and torque with (I think) slightly lesser weight.More than likely that I will save the replays I get winning gold in S-class.

I have 45 Golds.. Does that count? Im working on them but I only have the last 3 to go on the Super Liscence. S-6 is giving me a hard time.. Damn Viper :banghead:

got all golds up to IA-7. i'm holding off on getting IA-8 until i finish some more amateur races. Back when i first started GT3, i thought gettign all gold on all licenses was nuts. but now it really seems doable. getting all gold for B and A took about 3 hours each. IB took about 6, with the two complex string slaloms in the RUF took about 4 hours of the them, and getting gold in IA up to #7 took about 3.

it is really doable, you just have to be persistent. Plus, it's extremely rewarding as its nice to have all gold things =), and once u see that part of the track while racing, you know what the best lines since u've practiced it so much. i think everyone should give it a try, once they settle into the game.

i would have to say the hardest licenses to gold were the camaro one on the seattle track in A license and the two aforementioned slalom ones in the porsche (the one without ASM and TCS was slightly easier). GRRR!!!!

the easiest to gold in IA was IA-2. the s2000 on the trial mountain part i always cut through anyway while racing was cake :sly:

should i go for gold in S license and time trials also? i'm very aware however, that this would take much longer. as opposed to each attempt taking 30 secs of my life, these would take a minute and a half. =(

I got all golds again about a week ago. I found that the single hardest licence test, IMO, is R6. The Delta Integrale around the hairpins. I have NTSC BTW, so I have the harder time than you PAL'ers

43 gold/5 silver here. The ones I'm missing are all S license tests. MX5 @ Trial Mountain, Viper @ Laguna (haven't attempted yet), GT40 @ Seattle, Trueno @ Rt 5 Wet, and the Pennzoil Nismo GT-R @ Midfield (haven't attempted yet). I'll probably become too engrossed in GT4 to go back and do these.

oh, thats amazing, but i am probably the only 1 in the US with all golds on all licences!!! no, i'm serious

Rewards for all gold:
B: Mazda Eunos Roadster
A: FORGET
IB: Nissan 350 Z Concept
IA: Aston Martin V12 Vanquish
S: Dodge Viper GTS-R Concept
R: Subaru Imprezza Rally Car Prototype?
