This would be interesting with better regulations.

Good idea. 👍

Also, why not the R32 TC?

The R32 TC resembles the 1994 JGTC GT-R, which was made the year after Group A had withdrawn from the JGTC. Making it kinda odd to use it.

By the way, I may also be interested. :) The R32 is such a fun car to race around.

What ideas do you have for regs?? Any input is welcome:)

Actually plan out what mods are needed to get the car to the correct PP.

Letting people fully tune the car then power limit it to the correct PP number will actually give some an advantage with the extra torque the cars get from doing that.

I can look into it tonight and get back to you on what I think will suit the car best.

You are aware that the Calsonic R32 is in fact a Group A car? Why not just use that?

All cars would look the same, but the premmies could be set to those specs and BAMMM!!!
I would join for Sunday morning or afternoons. I can do anytime on Saturdays.

Sounds good to me. But all my cars are fully modded so I'd just have to power limiter and add 15kg or start over completely lol

I would just start all over, credits are easy to come by. Plus a larger variety in the garage.

This.

Plus power limiting a car adds a torque advantage, which in any of my series would be a no-no.

Edit: Let me know if you need help with anything, I'd like to see this take off.

I forgot! I got my car restore coupons! I'll just use 5 of them lol.

What would be someone's suggestion on replicating the unisia jecs scheme. I did a white car with fluorescent orange wheels. Or should it be the other way around.

Dose late Sunday morning sound good to race then?

Up to you, but my participation would depend on the time. I have an Integra race at 5pm EDT, then an FMSC race at 10pm EDT. I like to keep my mornings open for hiking, so if we could squeeze it between those two that would be nice.

Also, try not to double post, mods don't like that. If you need to add something use the edit button. 👍

It seems like you have a lot of experience running rooms like this. If you would like to run it that would be fine or we can make it a joint effort. I'd like to see it take off as well.(I had a room last fri that i called Gr.A racing 85'-00' and it was popular even after l left to go to the Dr. Came back the room was still up lol) Maybe in due time we can make a series out of it. Thanks for your input!!

How bout 6:30pm ish EST for a room. I'll start it up around then. I'll add u on PSN at some point this week.

Thanks for the double post tip;)

I'm wondering, would there have to be a Torque Sensing Center Diff settings regulations? Not sure because there is that option to do a 10-90 split and that could be better/faster for some drivers. Or would it be ok for such things? (I did say the right part, right?)

6:30 would be perfect.

There's really no way to regulate drivetrain parts, so I usually just let everyone use them all. As far as the settings go, there's really no advantage from one person to the next if everyone has the ability to make the adjustment.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I hope there isn't going to be some significant difference. Just need to see how all these cars are on the track.

On the time, 6:30 would work. Sundays right? I could make it. 👍

I say just open a room at that time and do free run testing / 5-lap practice races just so everyone can get a feel for it.

I'd say keep it as real as possible.

Although, doing some research I don't believe this should be called "Group A" racing, more like the All Japan Touring Car Championship (Division 1). As that is where these cars came from.
