I agree, that is more important. But isn't it nice to actually see the accompanied deformation that belongs with the mechanical damage as well? GRID has this, and it would be great if GT5 will have this also, that's all I'm saying. :)

they had it in all kiosk demos in Bestbuy, PAX, Target, Gamescom, TGS, etc. and suddenly there's little to minimal damage in the game? SERIOUSLY?! i mean, i can live with no cosmetic damage. but to show stuff then take it out the final game? come on.

Tekken is browsing this thread right now !!! OMG I am gonna explode from excitement !! Everyone hold on to me, this is going to me totally awesome !!!

You'll die by a heart attack on GT5's release date if you get that much excited for a simple video

I doubt. Kaz already mentioned there would be NO livery editor. And if RM was a livery editor, it would be called "Livery Editor" or "Custom Livery" and probably not be in GT Auto.

well sony might have told him to lie about it like dave jeffe did with twisted metal. and are saving it for a surprise. atleast i can only hope thats the only thing missing that i want besides drag racing.

Here, take mine. Yours seems to be broken.

u should of seen his post before he edited it. It was pretty much BIG SURPRISE! on the title

then why did he edit it? because he used a word too lightly. and he realized that. lol. maybe english isn't his strongest point. if it were really a big surprise, he wouldn't have edited his post, no? or am i just really off?

people got their expectations too high

Because people take things way too much, like someone said earlier some people consider a big surprise to be able to race lunar rovers on the moon.

Also A single-layer Blu-ray Disc can hold 25GB.

It's 33.4 now, but I dunno if they're in production yet:

"On Jan. 1, 2010, Sony, in association with Panasonic, announced plans to increase the storage capacity on their Blu-ray Discs from 25GB to 33.4 GB via a technology called i-MLSE (Maximum Likelihood Sequence Estimation). The higher-capacity discs, according to Sony, will be readable on current Blu-ray Disc players with a firmware upgrade."

About the damage, I think that tekken doesn't have level for the expert and extreme races (as I recall he's 13th level now) so everybody should chill...

yeah, while that is true, I know GT5 has taken a full disc, mgs4 did, even tho most of it was movie. when just the install of GT5 is 10 gigs, that says something. And someone mentioned earlier that kaz was rushed, I think so too. And while the other guy says there are 4 layer discs out, I'm pretty sure those aren't supported yet with the PS3.

Anyways, Tekken surprise.

Exactly.

in life, and in all things,

"The higher the expectations, the bigger the disappointment"

can;t blame some people, though. Sony and Polyphony made it sound like GT5 will be the second coming or whatever.
