All standards with open cockpits should have functional gauges

It's really dumb as the Chrysler Prowler is the only standard with functional gauges and not the rest of the standards that have open cockpits. Everyone (including myself) would like to see this happen in an update or in GT7. If you don't know what I am talking about, standard cars with open cockpits have actual interiors.

Here are the list of standards that have interiors but with non-functioning gauges:

Toyota 7 '70
Chaparral 2J '70
Caterham Seven Fireblade '02
Formula Gran Turismo
Suzuki GSX-R/4 '01
Jay Leno's Tank Car '03
Pescarolo Courage - Judd GV5 '04
Pescarolo Courage C60 - Peugeot '03
Pescarolo C60 Hybride - Judd '05
Audi Auto Union Type C Streamliner '37
Audi R8 (Audi PlayStation Team ORECA) '05
Audi R8 Race Car '01

Yes, and those are the ones Pootis is talking about. He wants gauges. Personally, I would call for disintermediation and just remodel those few open wheel cars to premium quality.
I agree.... The Open Top should be back. 👍

Oh, that isn't quite was talking about, but yes! There are too many convertible in the game (even premium ones) that can only be driven with the roof up, only the Ferrari California, BMW Z8 and a few others come to mind as cars that you can drive with the top down. The only cars Pootis and I were thinking about are the Chrysler prowler, Formula GT, GSX-R/4, Caterham Fireblade and Auto Union Streamliner; standard cars which are permanently roofless, and have been given an interior that is more than just dark abyss.

And don't forget the open top LMPs.

I was watching @Doodle current top 10 lap replay for the seasonal at Bathurst the other day. he was in the GSX-R/4 and i noted how horrid the interior looked. I thought it must be a standard vehicle and went to check it out in the dealership, it claims to be premium there. I wonder if it is the same with the other cars you list, having standard interior, however, claiming to be fully detailed. (Not blacked out but very substandard looking, pixilated, gauges not working, etc)

What? The GSX-R/4 is standard.

im pretty sure it says "interior detailed" in the dealership. correct me if im wrong. This could just mean it has some sort of interior detailing. Just not the higher quality as seen on the more recent cars to the franchise.

Detailed interior does not equal to Premium. All that says is that the interior has some kind of form to it.

Thats the conclusion i just came to in the end of my last post. Cheers for cleaning that up though. However it must be 99% of cars that say "interior Detailed" are in fact premium.

Yes, 'Interior Detailed' only seems to mean that there is at least something to be seen from inside the car, but this is usually a good indicator of the car being a Premium model, as all but two Premiums in the dealership (and four VGTs so far) have interiors, and only a small group of standards have interiors.[/FONT]

As well as the Toyota 7 and Chaparral 2J. My post was going to say "and a few others", but I backspaced that away when I added in the Caterham Fireblade.
