I had posted before about how many 3* tickets I was getting and it continues. Off the top of my head, I think 12 of the last 16 were 3* and was happy to get a 4* until I received a muffler.

Here you go. Also, I mostly get 3-star tickets for daily workouts. And usually 5000 credits. Ever since I completed 39 menu books I did not get any invitation, engine, car or anything significant.
Guys, maybe you can guide me a bit here. There is a new qualifying challenge at Monza on a new formula car that was just released. I tried to do a lap time yesterday, but I was slow- i think 9% off the fastest time. I think this car need to be set up for Monza. How do I do it? Any info you have seen on it?

The qualifying challenge you mentioned (more commonly referred as online time trial) doesn't allow any sort of tuning. There were some challenges in the past were you could work on tunes but those were (very) rare exceptions.
Your best bet is watching an online lap guide done by a fast driver (tidgney, mistah mca, kie25, francek88 are good examples) and then use their ghosts to follow their lines on track.
This particular one (Monza/F3500 A) is a hard one. Usually high speed high downforce cars like this one makes up a hard gold target time and even a reduced number of players into the gold brackett.
I personally tend to skip time trials with such fast/grippy cars because they are no fun to drive (unpopular personal opinion).

@Lightpilgrim is as @skydragon49 wrote, and that Time trial is among the hardest ones due to the speed and the nature of the car .
Personally didn't try it yet and if i did, silver will be like triple Gold for me since i can't deal with such speedy moving cars anymore .
So don't be disappointed if you don't go well on this one , you might know the track but running on the razor edge with such cars ,is very difficult if you're from earth and not from another planet 🤣

Looks like today is a good day for me:-)
First of all, I got Gold in Monza!!!

Then I got a 4-star ticket for a daily workout and a Ferrari invite as part of it!!!
Obviously I got all 3 in my garage now:-)

Few thing feel as good as having a couple Ferrari's in your garage. Though a couple of Porsche's do come to mind.

Congratulations mate and lucky you .
Now have in mind to get another pair of them except the FXX .
You have time to do it and just leave them stock which means no permanent upgrades .

It's always better to have a copy untouched and experiment with the others.
Note that very pushed on power upgrades isn't good always.
Usually they destroy the character of the car and some of them are permanent and cannot be undone.

Ok, I will keep 3 with zero km on them and will get 3 that I will drive and experiment with:-) Maybe one more for my future wife:-)
Missing invites from Citroen and Bugatti. But now that I have the Ferraries, I can wait:-))

This one is seriously challenging. Maybe easier with the wheel. On a controller it is super hard to get a flawless lap time. I tried to improve and this is my best effort so far, 1 sec off Silver. I have ideas where to get 0.3-0.5 sec…but not a full second though. Gold? I have bo human understanding how people do it:-)

So, I tried multiple settings. Just cannot do better that 28.3! I have left hands!!!!
Got a question. Is there a way for me to see how other drivers that are top in the world actually drive? I see that I can add them as ghosts, but can I see their lap to study lines and breaking points. There must be a way for me to get to silver in the next 8 days!!! All the efforts of this community to get me up to speed cannot go on vain!!!

Looks like it needs a super expensive cars: 3M!!! Shall I bother? And even though I have seen Competition in BC, I did not see Anniversary anywhere.

Yes in a time trial, not sure about other events. Before you enter w your car, check out the leaderboard and where there are replays loaded, you can view them. After you enter it changes to load ghost
Also in the ghost options you can reset each sector, so the ghost starts the sector same as you, makes it easier to follow some of the faster ones

The Anniversary X2019 was only available if you bought the 25th Anniversary edition of GT7 when the game came out. Unless you enjoy drive open-wheel formula style cars or doing 100% completion, it looks like a waste to me. That is my opinion. I personally don't enjoy driving downforce cars, and the X2019 is the ultimate Formula style car, designed by Adrian Newey.

That's correct. It was a limited period reward.
For the most part, though it has a unique name, it counts as a regular X2019 Competition - including in the Car Collection.
You can get the Red Bull X2019 Competition car in the Gran Turismo dealership in the Asian section of Brand Central. It costs 3,000,000 credits. There are other events that you can use it for.

I remember I got 3 Red Bull competition cars as a reward from car tickets. And this week, there's a car ticket up for grabs if you finish the weekly challenge races....

You mean the weekly challenge that starts every Friday? I have done all since I started playing the game 5-6 weeks ago. Also, almost all daily workouts. Most of the time I get 5000. One time I had a Ferrari invite and one time I had 1M:-))
