All Stars tune for Drag 180SX?

Hi, anybody knows of a tune to race with Drag 180SX on the other tracks than Test Course?
I've tried to max out the downforce, put super softs, lower the car but it keeps understeering. Anyone knows of anything to make the Drag 180 not too understeer-ish?
Any help are welcome.

I know this is 2 years late but i never check this section of the forum usually. There is no way to make the 180sx nnot understeer. It's programmed to via the grip multipiers on its wheels. 85% on the front, 120% a the rear. It's literally impossible to make it oversteer.
But what you can do is stiffen the rear, and tweak the LSD, as well as maximum front and minimum rear downforce.

It's the same problem with the Skyline.

excuse me does anybody know how to make the wheels cars get in theirs real place i mean when i am driving the car in high speeds like 300mph,the wheels of the car come out of its fender and it feels bad to me i want the gameshark code thank you

I have just started playing this game around a month ago but the tune I made for the HKS 180 with the help of guides from other people which actually gets it to turn is this

Tires is super soft for both

Suspension

Spring rate 2.0 lb/in 16 lb/in

Ride height 100 in 140 in

Damper bound & rebound
1 level 10 level

Camber 1.6 6.0

Toe 0.20 in -0.20 in

Stabilizer 1 level 3 level

Downforce is maximum for both

for gear ratios I used the simplified gear trick which is setting the final drive to the highest setting which is 5.500 then setting the auto gear setup to 1. Don’t touch the auto gear setup after that then set the final drive to your desired setting, which for this car is 2500 which is the longest final drive since this car has so much wheel spin in the first 3 gears. For the gear ratios I just put every gear to the very left for the least amount of wheel spin.

Gear Ratio

1st 3.747

2nd 2.775

3rd 2.152

4th 1.741

5th 1.469

6th 1.168

Final 2.500

Auto setup 1

Limited Slip Differential I feel is one of the most important parts to tune to get the car to turn. I set my LSD to maximum for initial, acceleration and deceleration.

LSD Initial 56

LSD Accel 56

LSD Decel 56

Stability Control and Traction Control

If you’ve bought both traction control and stability control leave them in their default settings (pressing start button when hovering over each of the settings individually resets them if you’ve changed them) which I’ve heard disabled them. Unless you’re driving in a track like Clubman Stage R5 with tight low speed turns then set stability control to 32 (I’ve heard its most affective at 32 for some reason) and set traction control to max.

DRIVING THE CAR

While this tune gets it to turn better it still understeers like crazy so driving the car is all about setting up a good corner exit without having too bad of a corner entry otherwise you’ll under steer into the outside wall. You have to brake earlier than other race cars when taking turns. But thanks to its understeer you can brake hard while turning. Just avoid doing that on tight turns as you’ll understeer off the turn.

When going through chicanes like in Red Rock Valley’s sector 1 chicane so far I’ve found it best to brake just past the 50 meter board and to take the middle line while braking and turning at the same time to get to the apex that is lower to the rest of the road to get the car to turn in. Use the braking in the middle line while turning approach to chicanes since the HKS drag cars are so understeery that they’re stable at braking. HOWEVER be very careful when exiting low speed tight corners in the HKS 180SX because while you under steer like crazy the first gear wheelspin will still spin you out if you’re turning too hard while accelerating so make sure the car is as clear of the exit as much as possible so that you can full throttle while keeping the steering as straight as possible to prevent spinning.

This is pretty much the same tune I run on my HKS R33 other then the gear ratio and leaving LSD to 1 for all the front settings but the R33 is heavier, worse in turning and braking and also worse at straight line speed compared to the HKS 180 but you’re more stable thanks to All Wheel Drive. I can’t keep up with the A.I’s in the fastest cars but you can at least beat Tuned Turbo cup with it.
