No. More a case of one dive bomb and bye bye dr.
I do think they might've tweaked the points for 1st,2nd and 3rd as have (in the recent past) picked up an unusual amount of points for those places in low dr lobbies.
Am I improving or has Sport mode just got easier?

I'm having the complete opposite effect to the op
I won about 5 races the night before the update, I was a DR S for a month without dropping to A maybe one time, now I can't lap anywhere near as good and probably some of the reason I've dropped some SR I think I'm now a C or a D before I got bored of the entire game due to weekly races and the penalties I'm receiving for what seem pretty clean races..
