This will be a rant cause I'm a little pissed right now!

Why must everyone think President Bush is a bad president? It seems to me that he's done a good job thus far. We won the war in Iraq, I will get to that in a minute, and he has done good for the economy no matter what some people say. I'll admit he's not the best president ever but he's damn good. He was elected by the people of the United States so just deal with it. I think your an unAmerican if you can't support our President, you don't always have to agree with what the President does but for God sakes our country would be better in more then one way.

For the war in Iraq I personally feel it was a good idea. Saddam was an evil bastard who needed to be taken out. There were no weapons of mass destruction like nuclear weapon, but they sure as hell found chemical weapons and illegal weapons for Iraq to have. Right there is enough to justify the war. But some people think its wrong and to those people I want you to explain how and why the war in Iraq could have been wrong. We freed people who deserved it, we eliminated a man of evil and we are now getting Iraq back on its feet. IT WAS NOT ABOUT OIL!!! No matter how many people say that, they are all wrong. Yes gas prices did fall due to the end of the war, so what?

As for the economy it wasn't Bush's fault that Sept. 11th happened. Its not his fault less people wanted to travel. So quit blaming him. Its the terrorist fault and peoples fear, not the leader of our country.

Aslo if more people supported America it would be better, if everyone bought American made stuff prices would decline. I'm a believer in that now. I'm trying only to buy American stuff cause I'm American and want to support my country.

Yes I am a Republican and yes Democrates are fine by me, they do a lot of good. But liberals just piss me off. Your just out to screw over the country.

How can you call yourself American if you don't even speak English? It makes me mad that at school they have special things for kids who don't know English. If your not going to speak English in America get out. Tourist are fine I understand they can't speak it but if you live in the USA speak English. We shouldn't have Spanish written under everything. If they want to live here speak the damn language!

My final though. If you don't like it in American get the hell out of my country and go some where else. Learn what freedom is!

I'm fairly sure September 11 is well behind us. Why can't the Bush-man get the economy started again?

Let's over-employ and drive up inflation! Hey - you only live once, right?

The economy takes time. With the way our coutry is I'm amazed our economy is so good. Damn people protesting just about every thing

Our economy certainly isn't bad but I think you're stretching the definition of 'good' by calling it that.

Our economy started to tip before Bush won the election, so it's not all his fault. We can blame Bush, we can blame Clinton, we can blame the Senate, we can blame the House, we can blame anyone we want, but in the end, who's fault is it directly?
Nobody's.
I don't think Bush is a horrid president. He's better than Gore, in my mind. Plus, he's given SNL a few good ideas:P
On a serious note>
This might be the only time that I broadly support America for a while, but there is a certain work-ethic in America that's kept the economy from getting bad. Bad is like 1928 bad bad. Did our economy even get as bad as it was in the 1980's? I'm not sure, mostly because I wasn't around then. You can't blame Bush or anyone for the slowing economy. If you look outside the box, you see that the American economy is greatly influenced by all of the foriegn economies. Take Germany for example. Their economy was falling before America's did, and America's following actions were caused because they got hurt from Germany's economy being hurt. Then since America's economy was being hurt America, closes plenty of factories and such in Germany, which makes more people jobless, which then makes Germany's economy worse. Then because German's economy gets worse, America's economy gets even worse, and more factories and plants are closed, &c. Then you add in GB's economy, Canada's, France's, China's, Japan's, Australia's, Finland's, Sweden's, Switzerland's, Denmark's, Italy's, Spain's, Belgium's, Russia's, &c, and try to solve that dilly of a pickle.

If you ask me, Bush did as good of a job as anyone else could have, and better than plenty of other people.

I'm not an economist, but I doubt Germany's economic difficulties would have a great impact on the US.

Actually, I do not think we have discovered any confirmed illegal chemical weapons. None that I am aware of.

FoxNews channel, which is not as fair and balanced as it claims, is, from what I believe to have been contended, the alleged culprit behind the perception, perhaps misperception, that chemical/biological weapons have been found. But I also think they are innocent. Those wanting the weapons to be found may see it too easily. Those wanting to undermine FoxNews will forget the cautions of "according to," "unverified," "possible," etc., used by Fox, all to convince people the channel is the Bush administration's lackey. I agree that the channel slants to the right, but I am unaware of any strong evidence to show that Fox has ever prematurely labeled a suspicious find as a chemical weapon.

Oil? No one really knows. But don't sweat over the conspiracy theorists much, because facts and countervailing logic would be seen as part of the conspiracy, or just your "niavette."

About your last line. There's a kind of hypocrisy in it, not your wishing it, but in your logic. What it sounds like you are saying is that if someone does not like America they should leave. Maybe they should, but are you not disrespecting their free expression buy telling them to leave, and their freedom of movement to some degree, migration laws aside?

America is about freedom of choice, expression, and the pursuit of life, liberty, and property. What does speaking the launguage fluently have to do with those rights?

9-11 behind us? Where do you live? France?

Typical.

Well, it's almost been two years... Al Qaida etc. isn't in the news anymore, and capturing Osama Bin Laden doesn't seem to be a priority anymore. So -- yeah, it's behind us.

Airlines are in huge trouble not to mention all the buisness around the crash site. Osama is still a priority as far as the war on terrorism goes.
We still have troops in Afghanistan so I doubt it's behind for them or their families.
I doubt it's behind them for anyone who lost someone in the 9-11 murders.

Not so much because of 9-11 than to things such as S.A.R.S., and due to the state of global economy.

Now, when you say the business around Ground Zero is suffering, I hope you're refering to the shops and businesses that got damaged literally in the attacks. Because business around Ground Zero is pretty much booming, think tourism.

The US has troops everywhere.

I see Street's point. And there are plenty of times I think many of the things he said.

Bush is doing a good fair with what he has to work with. But I hope for somebody better to vote for next time around (although I suspect he's in for the long haul). I don't agree with his take on the economy, and neither does Greeenspan.

I don't see how 911 can be behind us. Maybe it never will be. It changed America permanently.

People disagree all over the world. They have always done this. In the Arab world Shiites and Sunis kill eachother in the same country. In Ireland Catholics and Protestants kill eachother. In Africa rival tribes kill eachother. In America we fume over it and think about killing eachother. We make statements like "get out of our country," which smells like ethinic cleansing. People want everybody to get along and agree. But people can't agree on what to agree on. So we fight. And hate.

Does anybody know what the hell they're doing in Germany?

Eating bradwürsts.

Beer lots of beer. Not to mention NATO obligations. Guess its not that easy to end a cold war in a timely and orderly manner. Maybe we can move them to France ?

well I am glad my point was taken seriously.

Now to clear some things up. I really dislike liberals since they try and make the country the perfect place and take away rights. For something many people could relate to....Outlawing M rated video games is a liberal idea...for someone like me I say if you don't like it don't bother it. You see what I'm saying?

As for the language I sick of hearing people talking a different language in public...its fine to speak another language just not in public

You are not talking about a liberal , you are talking about an idiot. A person who is a liberal thinker vs an idiot would be the same as saying that you dislike your country because without liberal thinkers our country would not even exist. In fact if everyone thought rationaly would you even have been born ? After all the more you change the ration of resourse vs consumption you take away the rights of the elders to enjoy what they have produced for themselves...its only rational right ?

Without liberals would conservatives exist? And without liberal thought would the term conservative even have entered into the lexicon of modern dictionarys ?
