Give it time.
Also they all probably moved to metro Atlanta. They'd stick out like a sore thumb, just like I did when I lived in the East Atlanta slums.

Seriously...
More people moved from Florida than California and NY combined. If they all moved to Metro Atlanta it'd make less difference to the state total because it wouldn't affect the blue counties.

It'd still affect the overall Presidential election. Remember how close GA was last year?
Actually elections overall, we have very close races down here.

One's banned and the other isn't... Just sayin'...
What? What are you just saying?

You haven't actually said anything meaningful, you deliberately cut yourself off, but what you did say wasn't even the beginning of a cogent response to that which you quoted.

There is no "one" in the post you quoted. There's "Trumpsters," a large group of individuals (many of whom are still very much on Facebook, as it happens), and there's "the Taliban," which is also a large group of individuals (an indeterminate number of whom are or are not on Facebook, but this has no great implications for the narrative).

What you've avoided is the thrust of the post you quoted, which is that both groups think Facebook should be compelled to carry speech. The way an entity like Facebook is compelled to act in this manner is by threat of action, specifically government action, and because Facebook's hosting speech is itself speech, forcing it to carry speech by threat of government action is direct infringement upon the right enshrined in the Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.

Why do you hate free speech?

Not in counties that are already blue. Plus you have more people moving in from red states than blue. If you're looking for a reason the state flipped, Californians aren't the main cause according to the census data.

Tell me how regardless of districts our State Governor is voted for smartass. (Popular)

Tell me how my vote for Mayor doesn't affect the City of Atlanta smartass.(District) I vote for the Mayor of Dahlonega.

Tell me how the popular vote affects the Electoral college vote for President in GA smartass.(District but electoral votes don't have to vote for what their district wants)(correction, might be popular but I don't have time to look that up at the moment. I'm sure you'll correct with some asshole comments.

I'm not talking about school districts and Sheriffs or Mayors smartass.

And the icing on the cake smartass. As districts and state population grow so does the district/state representation, thus more influence in voting outcomes. State Reps come to mind... Not Senate...

I know how it works and I went on ahead and told you.

Add something useful to the conversation besides your trolling and harassment.

Predictably, you skipped right over the bit about which I directly addressed you.

I don't understand how ex-Californians and New Yorkers (let's call them blue staters) are causing the state to flip if ex-Floridians and Texans outnumber them.

Surely the higher number of red state out-of-towners are causing red districts to grow more than the blue staters are making the blue ones grow, even if the overall number of people coming in weren't tiny compared to the overall number of people in Georgia.

I don't have the data, but if blue staters are moving into fewer districts, and the red staters are scattering into different districts, then the party with the most districts will still win unless the balance is vastly tipped towards the larger districts.

I think something else is causing the state to flip, not Californians and Texans. Growing numbers of urban voters perhaps.

It's been pointed out that people move for myriad reasons, but it always comes back to this tribal narrative that the people moving into a state are invariably going to make the state worse. It sort of makes you want to tell people to leave if they don't like it.

I'm just pointing out that the numbers don't even support that argument. It's like blaming less than 2 million unauthorised migrants on the Texas border for the rise in Covid cases when the number of unvaccinated is around 14 million.

I wonder why.

We honestly have no idea where they moved.
Do we?
Just like we never received a Census...

People move, just like the families from NO during Katrina.
Our state has changed a lot. While the KKK ain't burning crosses on Stone Mountain anymore. Which is a good thing, Atlanta has gone to hell. Why do you think I moved to the mountains?

Besides the protests, our roads are way better maintained, the air is way better and overall it's not a concrete jungle.
The little area I grew up in, in Atlanta, was a quiet little neighborhood. Turned into a crime infested city, yes I said city, that the city of Buckhead wanted nothing to do with. Not that they're doing that well either, the rich are fleeing Buckhead are fleeing there cause of crime and taxes.
I'll quote Trump, everything woke turns to ****.

Presumably enough people did receive census forms to provide statistically accurate data unless they missed huge numbers of people out. A few people here and there aren't going to affect it overall.

What does any of this have to do with the way you're voting or people moving in from out of state? Are you saying that the criminals voted for Ossoff and Warnock?
I'll quote Trump, everything woke turns to ****.
Which is why your Olympic soccer team got beaten by a team featuring a Canadian non binary transwoman.

I have it on reasonable authority that "blue states" like California and New York are basically Texas outside of the metropolitan centres. It isn't true across the 50 + DC but what you've got is the classic rural vs urban debate where:

In California and New York, the urbanites outnumber the ruraltons.
In Texas and Georgia, the ruraltons outnumber the urbanites.

So in the case of Texas, less so Gerogia but definitely Texas, the perception is that the state can and will flip blue when the urbanites eventually outnumber the ruraltons. Is the opposite not potentially true? Ruraltons could outnumber urbanites in, for example, California and turn it red?

What does any of this have to do with the way you're voting or people moving in from out of state?
I have gone through this a thousand times y'all.
I voted for Obama twice, voted for Trump and opened my eyes to the growing crime and taxes that happened under Obama, and again the protests after Trump and the BLM destroying the city and I watched on the news of truckers having to defend themselves(defund the police huh) so they could keep moving just cause they were white. That's not **** I want to be around or pay taxes for, and if you chime in Danoff about I don't pay taxes...

It's literally peaceful where I'm at with a wonderful view.
Which is why your Olympic soccer team got beaten by a Canadian non binary transwoman.
Oh you mean our team with the woke lesbian who became the cover girl of Victoria Secret?
I laughed, just like I laughed at the boy who lost every event in women's weight lifting.
Keep politics out of sports. I didn't even watch it. News was shoving it down my throat every day. Felt good to sit back and laugh at their lowest ratings ever.

That's wonderful for you but it doesn't really answer my question or affect the way the state is voting overall. If BLM destroyed Atlanta then it'd cause more people to vote for right wing parties, not left wing ones.

You may be laughing but you missed the point so hard that we're laughing harder. Are you saying that your soccer team was woker than the Canadians who beat you?

As for keeping politics out of sports, you may want to look into why Trump made the quote about woke turning to **** in the first place.

Holy moley.

Aaaaanywaaaaay...

I'm not happy with recent events in Afghanistan and I don't have any trouble placing considerable blame at Biden's feet, but I'm not compelled to lie in order to criticize him.

Conservative activist Ryan Fournier isn't similarly dissuaded.

Trumpism, man.

Full disclosure: There was an article from CNN at the top. It was saying the same thing as the others, but I hate CNN. Plus I thought even the New York Post reporting it was noteworthy.

Dumber, had no idea Canada had a (they?).
If they spent as much time practicing instead of Victoria Secret PRs, oh and they already dropped her lol. We might have won.
you may want to look into why Trump made the quote about woke turning to **** in the first place.
I know, if the shoe fits though, use it. It's probably the truest words to come out of his fake tan mouth.

Edit:
I coulda told you that Biden was there Tex, I watched it and shed a few tears with my dad.

Stop with the"Trumpism man" ********. It's lies from politicians, news flash bro. THEY ALL LIE#

Edit 2: Y'all have fun, I'm gonna go cool off from cutting grass by floating down the river in my tube with a beer in hand, maybe smoke something too.

Y'all have a good evening. I'll be back later.
Peace love and chicken.

Edit 3. No soon as I get in the water wifey told me we're going to a wine and cheese tasting down the road at her coworkers house...
I guess I'll be floating down the river with her friends husband.

I didn't need to be told. I was able to offer up several sources (including the one that fabricated and pushed the Hunter Biden laptop scandal) reporting as much in the same post that showed conservative activist Ryan Fournier lying about Biden's attendance there.
Stop with the"Trumpism man" ********. It's lies from politicians, news flash bro. THEY ALL LIE#
Ryan Fournier isn't a politician. He's never held public office. Fournier is a conservative activist and political commentator with a significant presence on numerous social media platforms, mainstream* and fringe, and he co-founded the student activist group "Students For Trump" of which he is the current acting chairman. He's not a politician, but he is a liar. He's also a Trumpkin. Call the "Trumpism, man" ******** all you want, but doing so doesn't change the fact that it's directly applicable.

Conservatives talk about being for traditional values, but it's hard to imagine such open, blatant deceit wouldn't be anathema to those who legitimately hold said values. Of course, conservatives also talk about being for free speech but they often advocate for government to levy penalty on private entities for protected speech. They might not be good people. They...they might actually be ****ing garbage.

*Mainstream like Twitter, where he's verified. Though the source of that screenshot was right to question the significance of such status.

And no, Biden didn't fall asleep while meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. The official YouTube channel of the foreign leader has video contradicting the claim, even if the video isn't presented for that purpose.

Hanging one's head isn't indicative of one having fallen asleep, just as I tell my wife numerous times as I hang my head when we're up late watching movies. I tell her repeatedly...until I fall asleep.

I don't particularly like Biden. Sure, he's orders of magnitude better than Trump, but that isn't saying an awful lot. I don't like him, but these patent falsehoods are just insane. Modern American conservatism is insane.

Umm, okay?
Dumber, had no idea Canada had a (they?).
If they spent as much time practicing instead of Victoria Secret PRs, oh and they already dropped her lol. We might have won.
So maybe bash them for not practising, not for being woke? It sounds like the Canadians proved that wokeness is no barrier to being able to win a football match in this case.
I know, if the shoe fits though, use it. It's probably the truest words to come out of his fake tan mouth.
It doesn't appear to fit in the Canadians' case, though. Not sure what it has to do with the Georgia electoral results either.

No, I didn't see it plastered in the news everyday. I didn't even know.

American men did the same in basketball and being woke doesn't stop Allyson Felix from being an absolute ****ing badass. That woman is impressive beyond words--she's participated in every games since Athens in 2004. I wish I hadn't only seen her cross the line for gold in highlights, but the only event I watched live was women's beach volleyball.

I mean...it's as if the two qualities aren't actually related, but these Trumpkins are just so broken they'd never accept such a notion. I wish it was a new low that they were actively rooting against their own olympic delegates in Tokyo, but it was only a new middle. Jesus ****ing Christ...that whole Simone Biles thing. Right trash.

Modern American conservatism is insane.

[Edit: I had the relay positions mixed up in my head. Athing Mu was anchor and sealed the win while Felix ran the second leg. Felix still contributed to the win, of course, and she's still got the most olympic medals in women's track and field.]

Because the quote you used was talking about a football match.

Neither did Trump when he decided to bash wokeism, evidently.

Well quote me in the way I was using it or this whole conversation is a waste of time.

Being woke has **** all to do with creeping urbanisation and this whole conversation has always been a waste of time.

It does when you oppose calls for accountability in policing but saying so explicitly is exactly as ****ing ****** as it sounds.

Aaaaanywaaaaay...

I was going through pictures of the meeting between Biden and Bennett and the RFK bust jumped out at me every time it was present.

Has it always been there and am I just noticing it now because of Sirhan Sirhan's potential parole or is it actually now in that spot in the Oval Office? It's beneath Hamilton and Jefferson.

The flu kills more people each year than hurricanes. What's the big deal? Al Roker hammered by waves? It's water. The human body is like half water. We need it to survive. This hurricane is all over the news. The news is the problem. Turn it off and go live your life.
