He did? Do you have sources? Because I genuinly couldnt find any. The only one I could think of is stating remorse for appointing jeff session, but only because he didnt know in advance he would recuse himself. And I dont count that as accepting blame.
Of course I have sources. You can easily find them yourself by googling "Trump accepts blame" or "Trump admits failure".

On the bright side, Trump has done some remarkably good things. Like putting an old cow out to pasture, cheering American patriots with "America First" policies, and telling indolent, decadent Europeans to stop sucking our tits!!

It's not, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't work towards making it free. There's plenty of things that can be done to make it more attractive for companies to do business in the US and they almost always end up reducing restrictions on the economy and freeing up the market.

And just because China does it, doesn't mean the US needs to. Retaliatory tariffs don't work long term.
Retaliatory tariffs don't work in the long run against partners working from a level playing field. It makes both sides less efficient. However, when one partner is playing by a different set of rules and stealing your secrets they need to be brought to heel. Americans have a massive advantage here and are using it. They are the least invested in trade of all the western countries and have a trade imbalance with China they can use to their advantage.

Yeah I tried that, but ironically on my google search it only shows “trump won’t accept blame”.

Uncontacted or at least mostly isolated tribes should be left alone. They have very little immunity to diseases and even something like a cold could wipe them out.

The anthropologist in me also doesn't agree with trying to force a culture to conform to another culture.

Its pretty fascinating that there are uncontacted peoples.

Even a sneeze can wipe them out.

Its best their left alone. The missionary was warned how many times I guess some Humans prefer the hard way until its too late.

.....snipped many linkies.....

It's probably worth remembering that Google tailors search results to the individual wherever possible. So if you and I both type "Trump admits fault" into Google, it's highly unlikely we'll get exactly the same results on the first page.

Far easier to just provide links straight up, as that way there's no chance of miscommunication.

What is peoples opinion on the American Christian Missionary that got killed in Sentinel Island by trying to contact an uncontacted tribe?

At the risk of being impolite, it sounds like the world now contains one less idiot.

The bigger the club of which you're a member when you die, the more likely you are to encounter the afterlife espoused by that club...or something like that, right?

But he actually has accepted blame for some of his cabinet appointments, effing up trade talks with Trudeau, paying hush money, attacking some journalists and for his tendency for making up excuses for mistakes.

In what way?

EDIT: I missed the whole page after where this discussion happened. None of the provided links seem to me to amount to any actual acceptance of blame for anything, though.

To be blunt, he deserved what he got, for reasons already mentioned by others.

Europeans are sucking America’s tits? Please explain.

To understand this reality, you must first understand the seriousness and danger of what is called the European Sovereign Debt Contagion Crisis. All EU countries are constantly borrowing money to finance themselves and other dependent and desperate EU members. Your personal share of this debt is about € 117,000. The US is a major source of this money, either directly or through the IMF. Thus, the US taxpayer it at risk of holding the bag when and if Europe defaults on its loans. As interest rates rise, as they are doing now, the difficulty of financing debt increases, as does the risk of default. As the US grapples with its own massive debts, elective financial support for Europeans and others will inevitably fade.

Another example of unhealthy dependence of Europe on America is its reliance on our massive military support of NATO, while neglecting to pay its agreed share of the costs. IMO, the US should leave NATO and the organization be dissolved. I support Macron's plan for a scaled down defensive army for Western Europe.

That is hardly sucking US tits. If you follow the money, you will end up with the Chinese being the largest owner of US debt (1.13 Trillion). So you could say we are all sucking China's tits.

Nope. Largest owner of US debt is Americans and it dwarfs Chinese holdings and all other holdings combined.

Yes, total US debt - government, corporate and household - is roughly 50 trillion dollars. I can afford to pay my share of $175,000. Unfortunately, most Americans live from paycheck to paycheck with little more than a few hundred in the bank. How they expect to retire and live comfortably is beyond me.

Your correct. Let me rephrase: the largest foreign debt owner is China at 1.13 Trillion. I am no expert in the material, but I think that 1.13 Trillion covers a large part of the Debt crisis in Europe.

I don't think it's something that they do by choice.

If you asked them, I think a lot would say that they probably don't expect to be able to retire and live comfortably, but that that's a problem that they'll deal with when they get to it as they're rather more occupied with the immediate problems of finding money for food and rent right now.

You know, priorities. Why worry about being broke at retirement when you're already broke right now?

Credit card debt is at an all time high while credit scores are the highest they've been since the recession. That seems to indicate that people are getting higher limits and choosing to spend right up to those limits while still being able to make the payments.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/23/credit-card-debt-hits-record-high.html

I would also say, as weird as it may sound, that the surge of "fast casual" restaurants is pretty indicative of how we choose to spend our money. They've grown massively here over the last 10 years, and you're lucky to get a meal for less than $10 at most of them. There is no way you can manage to make that a regular thing when you're digging between the cushions for rent money.

Rent is also insane in areas with jobs. I pay nearly $1,800 a month just in rent. If I wanted a house, I could get something small, that requires $50,000 worth of work, and in a bad area of town for $300,000 or more. I make decent money, but it's out of synch with what I pay for rent. I get the concept of supply and demand, but something doesn't quite add up for me.

The cost of living is the real inflation, it's hard to take government statistics seriously when they say inflation is below 3% but you see prices rises on everything becoming increasingly frequent.

I've seen what it looks like to live paycheck to paycheck firsthand, and I can tell you that sometimes it's by choice. It's the same reason lottery winners end up broke again in a few years. I think the figure is like 70% of lottery winners end up bankrupt. The reason is because it's what they're used to.

All you have to do to end up living paycheck to paycheck (no matter how big, and I've seen households that pull in north of $200k do this), is stack up monthly payments until there is almost no room remaining. It's stressful for a little while, but after some time you get used to it. Then the moment there is room in the budget (hey the boat is finally paid off), you add new monthly payments to take up the slack (I guess we can finance that TV), because you're used to it. Or you make adjustments in your standard of living to make room for monthly payments "$50/mo just isn't in the budget right now, but I really would like that sports package on the satellite feed... ok let's get rid of one of the storage units, that should free up $50/mo".

You get used to spending the money a few months before you have it, you get used to running balances on credit cards, you get used to being broke, and then you stay broke.

Edit:

BTW the opposite is true as well. You can get used to having 6 figures in your checking account, and then when you make a purchase (such as buying a second property or making a big market move), you feel broke. "We only have $20k in checking!" It feels like you're out of money, for a little while, until you've gotten used to seeing $20k in checking, and then you don't miss the 6-figure balance anymore.

While I believe a great deal of people end op this way. Dont assume all of them are by choice. A large portion of Immigrants also support their family. Or people who werent insured getting sick or a having savings evaporate because of an economic crisis.

But from an european point of view, we generally do think that a lot of americans are used to live on credit. In my country creditcards are not used often and debitcards are the norm.

While I believe a great deal of people end op this way. Dont assume all of them are by choice.

I didn't.

A large portion of Immigrants also support their family. Or people who werent insured getting sick or a having savings evaporate because of an economic crisis.

If your savings evaporate, but you're used to having savings, it's a temporary, transient condition - unless you're permanently disabled, in which case you count on your disability insurance.

But from an european point of view, we generally do think that a lot of americans are used to live on credit. In my country creditcards are not used often and debitcards are the norm.

Credit is a big problem in the US, it gets abused like crazy and people think it's normal. Credit cards are not necessarily a problem, you just have to pay them off every month. I prefer my credit cards over any debit card, but I don't run a balance. My credit cards pay me an average of about $1000 per year for the honor of handling my transactions.

No real relationships, just convenient transactions.

Trump admonished Love along with other defeated Republicans in a news conference the day after the midterm elections for not embracing him and his policies more in their campaigns.

"Mia Love gave me no love and she lost," Trump said, even as her race against Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams remained too close to call. "Too bad. Sorry about that, Mia."

Love said at Monday's news conference that she was "somewhat surprised at first" by the president's remarks. She said the comment left her wondering, "What did he have to gain by saying such a thing about a fellow Republican?"

"However, this gave me a clear vision of his world as it is: no real relationships, just convenient transactions. That is an insufficient way to implement sincere service and policy," she said.
Oof.

Credit card debt is at an all time high while credit scores are the highest they've been since the recession. That seems to indicate that people are getting higher limits and choosing to spend right up to those limits while still being able to make the payments.
But having cards nearly maxed out, on-time payments or not, isn't good for your credit score. They prefer you keep the balance really low.
Rent is also insane in areas with jobs. I pay nearly $1,800 a month just in rent.
I pay $808/mo for a 500 sq/ft studio and a small garage (utilities included except for power/internet) and I can barely stomach that. Trying to find something in the Phoenix area as my lease is ending soon and I'll be lucky if I can find something under $1k that isn't a dump.
"We only have $20k in checking!"
Man that would be nice. :P

But having cards nearly maxed out, on-time payments or not, isn't good for your credit score. They prefer you keep the balance really low.

True, but that doesn't really change my point. People are getting higher credit limits and spending more because of that.

Hey look, Trump continues not to understand economics:

https://www.autoblog.com/2018/11/26/trump-gm-ohio-plant-closure/

GM can't just magically put something in the plants it's closing. Also, apparently, the tariffs cost GM $1 billion which is no small chunk of change. I really feel like Trump doesn't understand it takes a long time to work out the logistics of moving manufacturing from say China to the US. There are supply chains, shipping, permits, taxes, and a hundred other things it needs to consider.

I'm all for jobs coming back to the US, but only because a company wants to bring them back. Being forced into by the government is no better than socialism.

It makes you wonder how he got so rich.
He had to be extremely lucky riding several bubbles, because I can't imagine he scores higher than 85-90 on an IQ test.
