For context, the entire federal workforce is about 5% of the budget, with the vast majority of that being the VA, homeland security, and armed forces. 1.6 million workers includes something like 1.3 million in VA, Army, Air Force, Navy, Homeland Security, and DoD.

Trump has got everyone blaming the rest of the federal government, which is less than 1% of the budget, for all of the US government problems.

Jangle Dangle Vance (no idea, not looking it up; must be excruciating if he feels the need to use an initialism instead) just told a security conference in Germany that US democracy is weak and easy to manipulate.

He didn't mean to - he was trying to slam Romania, for some reason - but as he said "If your democracy can be destroyed with a few $100,000 of digital advertising from a foreign country, then it wasn't very strong to begin with", and he works for and with foreign assets who managed to cajole a bunch of crazies into trying to overthrow it four years ago and have worked on nothing but amplifying the same disinformation spouted by their bot farms and voter disenfranchisement to make the "digital advertising from a foreign country" more effective by silencing the votes of those not hoodwinked by it over the intervening time, he kinda said the quiet part loud.

Justa Dingleberry also tried to be humorous (his word) claiming, "If America can survive 10 years of Greta Thunberg scolding, you guys can survive a few months of Elon Musk", someone who hasn't been relevant in recent years except for getting into a Twitter exchange with sex trafficker Andrew Tate that was done shortly before he got arrested, so people give meme credit to her for that.

Greta of course not harming anyone just explaining what's actually going on, vs. Elon Musk who is actually ending careers and halting medicine administered through USAID*. So pretty much the same.

*Not to mention FSD car crashes and fraud, stock fraud, employee harassment, breaking election laws, accessing classified material...

Did Trump learn nothing about how much he messed up COVID? Pretty sure that screwed him over in the 2020 election.
He doesn't have any more elections to worry about. He can pretty much do whatever he wants now, it's not like anyone is going to stop him. Four years ago the senile old felon tried to overthrow the government and have his own VP lynched and what we've all learned from that little excursion is that the constitution is completely unprotected.
