I've never used it. But I thought ESPN had an app where you could watch anything they streamed?

With my ISP (comcast/xfinity), I can watch anything ESPN is airing. I think some ISP's do not support this feature though.
 
You have to have a certain Internet provider to use the app. I've got Time Warner, but my mom works at home so her company provides internet. It's a business account so I can't use the app.
 
I'm down for that. I just bought the Matmut 908 for the first time, and it's so good that I'm on the verge of signing up for P1 class next season.
 
Doing the LMP class is something ive thought about, but for me it just comes down to competition. Id rather rather race against 7-8 guys versus 3-4.

And yes we should start discussions on season 4, gatrs we need your input!
 
It's the closest thing to an actual racecar feel I've had in GT5. Turning off the HUD and rushing through the night in cockpit view... :drool:

Plus, as opposed to having to tap the headlight button, I just have to hold it down and it flickers automatically.
 
The Audi R10 does the same thing, as well as Premium SuperGT's. As good as the 908 feels, the Bentley IMO feels better.
 
I got a tune for the R10, too slide though, it has too much performance and not enough Aero to handle it.

I'll volunteer to do those kinds of monotonous work :P I actually always wanted to run a certain race series, but never had much idealism to start one.

So basically you want to hand the keys to someone else? I think with the group we have we can all run the series just fine, i volunteer to do the standings portion. I'll also try to put together a video with moments from last season to show any new members what the series is about.
 
I got the cookies part. Any allergies I should be aware of? :P

Going by the list, season 4 should be coming up soon. Who's gonna take care of the OP? I would host but I dont think I can be 100% reliable on Fridays. Gonna start a new job next Monday. So we'll see how that schedule goes.
 
I think I may start P1. The 908 is awesome, I've had it for a while. I don't drive it much anymore, though. I think it looks cooler racing prototypes too, since there are no GT racecars that we can use.

We could always just do P1 and GT2 and have that be the two classes, to have a more even split (since there are always people missing from each class come race night, especially P1). I'd be down for supporting more proto drivers by being one, and give up another GT spot. GT will always be popular and fill.

And Kev, a video would be awesome! I always put videos in the OP of series, for some background and fun to watch.

I was planning on going P1 as well.
If that gets full, P2.
I think most of the P2 drivers can say that want that to stay?

And I was planning a putting together a short video segment before each race with an update on championship standings, flying laps from last year, as well as some footage from both last season and the race right before.
However, I then began losing interest in GT.

Kevin, can you learn Google Docs? If not, I have an idea where you can still use Excel, it might be a bit more of a hassle though...

I caaaan, i was just hoping i could use excel and make the standings page a bit more flashy than just normal text. I was planning on taking screen shots of the page and posting them directly on the front page of the season 4 thread to make it easy to view.

As for making a video, i dont have a pvr or anything so id have to use my digital camera but it should still look pretty good. Ill start compiling video tonight and i'll try to get equal footage of LMP and GT cars. I think i only have replays from Daytona, Suzuka, Seca and Le Mans though.

What I was thinking was that either you could reserve the third post in the thread and continuously update that, or somehow upload pictures, but keep the same URL. If you get what I'm saying?

You reserving the third post would probably be easier.

I'm going to talk to parents about switching our ISP tonight.
See if I can talk them into it.

Friend of mine has a 2 mb/s download speed! That's 30 times what I have! :grumpy:

I actually volunteered to do all or the majority of them, but reserving A) is decent enough :P I actually planned for the writing, shall it be tremendously formal.
 
Which is why I suggested combining the two prototype classes. P1's don't have 680hp anymore. Testing took place at Sebring today and P2's were only a second or two slower than the (non-Audi) P1's. ALMS has limited prototype entries IRL anyway. 525hp should be the base of the P1 cars and then just match the rest to the fastest P1. That's what I think.
 
I like that idea. Any testing done?

Was just thinking. If we combine P1 and P2, arent the P1's going to have an advantage in down force?
