Two great shows on History that are stacking up the views and becoming one of the greatest shows on television. I will show you a video of each show for the people who have not yet watched these shows.

This is "Pawn Stars"

This is "American Pickers"

These are all great shows. My favorite would be Pawn Stars. Share your thoughts of the shows.

I quite like Pawn Stars. Its like American Chopper meets Antiques Roadshow or something. Its also pretty informative (admittedly about largely useless stuff, though the American history items are pretty nifty), and a lot of the stuff people bring in is pretty interesting. I also get a kick out of some of the items that they buy and restore to resell. All in all a pretty good premise and pretty good execution.

I can't say the same for American Pickers, though. For the most part it is actually pretty boring from the few episodes I've seen, as they rarely actually say anything about the items that they buy other then what they can sell them for. Its basically just two guys going around buying junk, which seems kind of pointless in my opinion.

I like the Ol' Man in Pawn Stars. He makes me laugh a lot. He's the Godfather of Comedy who works in a Pawn Shop.

Pawn Stars is one of those shows where I'll watch it if there's nothing else on. American Pickers is rather stupid, as has been said they don't say a whole lot about about the items, which kind of voids the whole point of shows like that which is to learn about older stuff.

Pawn Stars is great, don't care much for the "family drama" or that fat idiot chumlee that works there. I wonder why they don't fire him? If there was an employee that useless where I work my boss would throw him out the door.

But I like the show anyway, learning about all those items is cool, but I'm sure most of the stuff that's brought in is staged.

He's the comic relief.

I agree with this entirely.

I prefer American Pickers to Pawn Stars, only because they seem to find cooler items. I also like the banter between the two guys on American Pickers plus the secretary they have is hot.

As a big fan of American culture and someone who wants to live there one day, I love 'em both, and yes Hardcore Pawn deserves a mention too.

In Pawn Stars the other night, Chumlee and the Ol' Man were dressed up in santa outfits which made the night 👍

American Pickers is always an interesting watch, whether it's old cars or bike, little nic-nacs or what have you, those guys always manage to find some cool stuff.

As I tell my match I'm watching some HARDCORE Pawn they always laugh, but besides the name, it's a great show. It really shows desperate people are for money in tough times, but the merchandise they have is awe inspiring to say the least.

All in all, they all rock 👍
