An Indepth Look into the Apparent Downgrading of Graphics Since Prologue + Pics!

GT4 Prologue was a fraction of the game GT4 was. GT4 P therefore had more room on the disc for textures. Perhaps GT4 wouldn't fit onto 1 disc if they used the same textures, so they had to downgrade them.

Tell me why this needed its own thread? Why wasn't it added to the end of Robin's?
Why? Look at when the last post was posted on this thread...

I don't really want to bring up a three year old thread thankyou very much! :)

I think what you're saying about the textures is half the problem. Maybe because they had a lot more cars in Gran Turismo 4 than in Prologue, they needed more memory space to apply the textures to the cars! :) 👍

Edit: I will try and get the pictures uploaded during the weekend. I have got school tommorow but after that I have half term, so I think I have about a week of. I will try and get something done then!

You wish to talk about the exact topic that this thread was about, therefore you bring it back. 💡

We do not want more than 1 thread on the same topic.

Well sooorry! I'll just go and hang myself shall I! I don't think I will bother uploading any pictures, because being hanged is more fun!!!! (I'm being sarcastic)

PS: Seriously though, I cannot upload any pictures because every time I stick the Gran Turismo 4 disc in the Playstation 2 nothing happens. I tried cleaning the disc, and I even was going to try cleaning the lense, but I could not find the lense cleaner. I did try my other Gran Turismo 4 disc, but that did exactly the same thing! :banghead: :irked: :ouch:
