I have waited for official results before writting my comments on these races.

So I came to the friday race without having the chance to warm up... I told myself not to get involved with others in the first race, and keep it clean at all times. I used the first race to warm up and find my pace knowing that the second race I would start in the front and be able to take points at that moment. As you all can see in the replay I got smashed out in the last corner of Lap 1 during race 2 !! loosing about 20 sec to recover. Race over !!

Now what bothers me the most is that no actions have been taken after the race...

I was willin' to give online racing outside the WRS a chance. But I really should have known better. I wanna thank all clean drivers for all the fun. To all dirty drivers I say 'hasta la vista', I am so glad I will not have to race you again.

Therefore I am reteiring from these series, wish you all the best.

I don't remember said incident but as I've said earlier I'll gladly look a second time at things if I'm asked to. Nothing's yet so set in stone it can't be changed should need be.

A little something from our test at Le Mans:

Our small but valiant forces

A taste of things to come?

At (C)Arnage

This can be turned into a good banner

So much crazy stuff happened in that last corner I decided just to show the best pic:

DRIFT KING

And, from the infamous Race 3 incident:

YIKES SO CLOSE!

It was a big mayhem in that corner, with several cars crashing behind me, these things should be looked at, even if no complaints arrive.

I'll have a look tonight, I promise. I'm even ready to give myself a penalty for things like that :banghead: just please give me a chance *begging for all drivers to do this*

That is not only the point, I got smashed of so hard I actually was 'flabbergasted' for a few minutes. In the replay I see that the one who hits me then leave's the race.... but at that moment the others have gonne, so my race is over no matter what penalty you give...

Unfortunatly this has happened to me twice in these series, it just shows that sometimes there is no respect for other drivers... and I do not think this is gonna change.

I am not gonna keep whinning about it, you guys are having fun, I am not..... so you guys just continue, and I quit, its as easy as it is...

:(

Considering the day started out quite well this is just depressing. No offence guys.

I had hoped I could finally make a series that would turn out to be a succes. But this seems like it's just my luck. DTM was done due to bad internet, WRC due to low sign-ups, and now it does look like RCC will be following. I was going to say this after S1 if it turned out poor, but I'll say it now:

When this is done, I'll keep away from trying to organize anything with more than one race. Maybe even races at all. I may not even be on GTP racing after it. Or GT5. Thing is not only do I have more homework now, but there's just a majority of the community that lacks understanding of respect. This one example from LS is not one of these, IIRC it was a matter of lag on the network. But thinking back on some of the other things I've done, there's a clear pattern: Take my first Spot Race, the All-Night Endurance. It had a healthy amount of signups, but 6 cars found their way to the grid. It got even worse in GV300KM: We didn't even make it halfway, again due to next-to-no cars. When I started WRC, I thought "great, there's no rally championship, so maybe this can be the sweet spot". But it wasn't. People that signed up didn't show and as of right now MonSpaNur is still basically profiting of my work trying to get something together (for HALF A YEAR I TRIED). So this was kinda the last try for me to find a reason to keep in the racing series business. But things aren't really going that well now, and while it may seem like just bailing to most of you fact is I've tried desperately for so long yet everything's failed, cracked down upon me. I will try to lead this to end but if this impression doesn't change it's a "goodbye GTP racing series".

Rant over.

Anyone at all looking forward to Suzuka?

Are you being serious? That would be very sad for me. I love this series and I'm VERY MUCH looking forward to Suzuka, I'm honest. :( I know that it's very hard to organize something, even in real life. But I personally think you did a good job with the Clio Cup, just because there were accidents, doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. (I experienced some of my best racing battles thanks to your Clio Cup) 👍 And I would love to continue to race in your series, whatever you'll come up with.

More and heavier penalties, even DSQs!

EDIT: Sorry for double-post, my computer was confused... Oh, and I don't understand, how can there be bad interest?? It's not like you can find this kind of competition in public lobbies...

I serioulsy hope this has nothing to do with my exit, cause in my opinion you are doing a good job..... or at least tryin' to....

I think I have been a bit spoiled by the fact everything is so well organised in the WRS. The guy who punted me in the first lap (race 2) will probably say he had lag..... well in WRS if you have lag....you are not racing. Why, well exactly because of the thing that happend to me.

IMO, if you have lag, you should have the respect for others.... meaning you will not race untill you have fixed your lag problem...

It has nothing to do with what happened Friday, it's been slowly but steadily growing for a long time.. But it felt kinda good to be honest with y'all.

@Racingworld, IIRC it was YaShoe, and he asked after the race whether or not he should be racing for Race 3. He noticed he had extreme lag, which is also why he left Race 2: he didn't want to ruin the race more than what had happened, and knowing Shoe for a long time I doubt he hit you on purpose. Unfortunately there's not much to be done in a situation like this, except doing another Deep Forest. But as I said, I'll have a look at exactly what happened (and look for other lag-related incidents) and if need be deduct the time lost directly due to lag :)

Don't bother Morten, It is ok for me like it is. I do know it was not on purpose and I am not accusing anybody of anything. I just happened to be in the wrong places at the wrong times :) Plenty of events coming up in the next weeks in the WRS, so I will put my teeth in those races and practises ;)
It was a lot of fun racing with you and against you. Thanks.

I will join up WRS in summer. In May there is way to much stress because of school, music school etc. ;)

Was that me that pushed you? I left the race because it was obvious I was lagging web everyone around me started crashing. In advance, sorry. Won't be starting next race anyway...

👍 I will be looking forward to your arrival.

Yes, it seems to be, but don't feel bad about it. But if you wanna do more online racing, I would advise you to fix it, cause it will not dissapear by itself....maybe youre connection is to slow, maybe you are not hardwired, could be a lot of things causing this.
But that is not the reason why I leave the championship. I raced online for over 1 year under GTP flag in WRS events, what happened to me in these CLIO races I never experienced before.....because off the strict rules in WRS, I and all other drivers are in a way of protected. I will explain what I mean ; if you join first thing that gets checked is your connection....if ok, no problem, if not ; the admins will try to help you find a solution so you can race. If the problem can not be solved, you will kindly be asked not to race in 'official' events. Next check ; a drivers 'on track' race behaviour. Admins will check if he drives like as stated in the OP. If you fail to do so, you will also kindly be asked not to race.
Then there is the last thing ; wich is not written down, but should be looked uppon as common respect towards other drivers.

100% agree 👍 same for PURE huh ;). I confess PURE and WRS are why I still play this game.

Honestly, I just participate to other series than PURE and WRS to observe gtp members.
I don't really run for the series itself. I'm known in PURE for being the "profiler". And I do my "job" around the entire forum, even here ;)

Well, if the decision can't be changed then what's more to say than see you maybe in another series/season or definitely in WRS once I get going with the qualifier :)

I'm still in and practising for Suzuka even though i have had my share of incedents. I'm still trying to learn to be good and clean driver.

Me too.

As for what Morten said, those are all the reasons I backed out of WMA Presidency etc. The false sign-ups, no-shows, and general hooligan driving/internet was horrid. At least, in real life, there's no poor connection quality issues, even if the guy you're trying to lap doesn't know you're there, because there's no blue flag available at practices...

Clearly, then, most drivers will still be entirely lost.. But not disconnected, and not shunted by a lag spike. If you enjoy GT5, go race in real life. Seriously, the experience is much more rewarding.

And that brings us to karting...

Scaff reminded me that there's a thread for that. I just posted in it, go there so the mods don't ban me again, because we're not allowed to discuss that here, with friends.

Yea, racing world. What I don't understand is, on iracing I have a really good connection. Usually my connection on gt5 is excellent aswell. Once in a blue moon it starts to lag like crazy for a minute or 2. I don't get it.
